its not a fashion its a religion. some say crosses are not ment for fashion.

I think they might be implying that being a Christian is more of a fashion than a religion. Like you aren't cool unless you do it, or someone won't be friends with you unless you are... well i hope that made sense!

It means that you shouldn't wear things that relate to Christ or Christianity if you're an atheist/jew/buddhist/etc.

They are saying that you can't all up and decide one day to be like christ or follow in his footsteps and then the next day decide not to, that believing in christ is a life long thing.
