Q: My friend Melissa is having a HUGE party at her house tonight..
but she didn't invite me.
We're friends..but not BEST friends..like on a scale of friendship..(10 as BFFs)..We're like a 5-6...you know?
Do you think I should ask her why she didn't invite me?
*One time, I confronted her about another party that she had..and she denied she ever had one.
I've never been over her house; vice versa..
Her parents like me though..I think..Why wouldn't she invite me? I thought we were friends :(...It's a HUGEEEE party..I'm sad.

It seems to me that this friend of yours isn't really your friend. Don't even bother asking her why she didn't invite you. Keep your head high.
But if you're really curious, maybe ask a friend to ask her. It happened to me once; you don't wanna know why that *toot* didn't invite me to the party. Lame excuse.

Ok, a classmate of mine went through that.
There was this guy in class that really liked her, and when he asked her out, she said yes because she didn't want to hurt his feelings.
HOWEVER, he started going really fast, as in holding her hand in class in front of teachers, and not giving her any space.
So she found that he wasn't her type because he gave her too much attention and always got jealous of her guy friends. So, even though she didn't want to hurt him, she thought it would be wiser to break up with him. Why? because only 3 days after he asked her to be his gf, he said "I love you". Of course, she couldn't say "I love you too."
Know what I'm saying? If you really wanna go through this (she might dump you if she doesn't want you anymore), then tell her : I am ready to take that chance. And if it doesn't work out, no hard feelings, we'll stay friends.

Q: ok when my grade started i saw this guy named tuckermen and i thought that i was head over heels for him but my friend feels the same all about him and i felt like im competing for him .

First of all, I admire your courage for even talking about this. I'm overweight too but I am too shy to talk about it. I'm not saying you should be shy though! lol
Anyway, I've learned this valuable lesson last year: Do not approach a guy, even if you think he does like you. If he really does like you, he'll make a move.
Do not assume he's shy, because that one is definitely not!
1- He asked out other girls!
2- he called you fat.
Does this guy seem shy? I think not.
Flirting is pretty normal for us girls, most of us always want to win the guys.
Do not lose your weight for him, lose it for yourself. You cannot lose weight for the wrong reason. I dont wanna scare you, but say he doesn't ask you out after you've lost all that weight? You're probably gonna be devastated and start gaining weight again.
Believe me, I've been through all of this. I lost a few pounds for a guy, and when he stopped contacting me, I started eating junk again.
And I don't think you should go out with a guy who called you fat. If he does ask you out after you've lost weight, then he's pure shallow. That kinda guy only thinks bout appearance, and not personality.
I am open minded, so I will not say anything about your zodiac believes. But a question: Is that guy the only Taurus in your school?
I don't think so. I'm sorry to say this, but I find that you are slightly dependent on Taurus. Do not be so dependent on guys; where's the "girl power"? They're the ones who can't live without us.

Personally, I don't think a girl should be forced to fall in love or like any guy.
But you're saying that she likes you but is afraid of taking risks , right?
The only thing to say is : Life is boring without any risks. What's life without risks?
At this age, taking risks should be part of a teenager's routine; it depends on the risk though.

According to my health book, the concept of health requires a balance of five components: physical health, meantal health, emotional health, social health and spiritual health.
I am not a psychiatrist so I cannot judge whether there's something wrong with you or it's just a phase.
Many teens, including myself, have dark thoughts every once in a while. Some thoughts include suicide.
So I want you to ask yourself: Am I really healthy?
Killing yourself won't solve anything. Maybe you think it's gonna rid you of any suffering, but it would be selfish because a lot of people love you and care about you and it would hurt them deeply. In my religion, we believe that people who take their own lives end up in hell.
So do you really want to end your suffering on Earth and suffer in the afterlife instead?

My cousin is taking these pills that renew the skin layers (she has ACNE), and one of the side effects is depression.
So here's another question for you: are you taking any pills? If you are, you should read the paper that comes with it, because maybe these pills are the cause of all this.

This is either an excess in some hormone OR you're not mentally and emotionally healthy.
Having a friend you can depend on is worth millions, so you can talk to your friend, or your mother or your boyfriend. I believe your mother would be the best person to talk to at this stage.

I really recommend you try chocolate, as in, pure chocolate. Chocolate is every woman's best friend.
And spiritually, I recommend yoga classes. Trust me, meditating helps a lot.

If you think none of this would help, I suggest you pay a visit to a psychiatrist.

Q: Ok I like this guy , but he can't date outside of his relligion. What should I do???

well, you definately can't change your religion and neither can he. So you either convince him, or just drop it. This is called racism, people shouldn;t not date people because they're outside of their religion!

Q: summers here and i want to loose some weight...problem is i have a hard time sticking to a diet and excersize program...im 15 and i really wanna loose some weight before school starts up again...problems i have are-

1. finding an effective excersize...i cant run though so dont suggest that please
2. my parents keep junk food scattered round the house even though i try to avoid it..i can pretty much avoid it all accept the chips?!
3. finding a healthy food that i can snack on
4. finding a way to keep calm at dinner and not go over bored

could anyone possibly help me find excersize i can do? and help me keep away from junk food??

Welcome to the club! Losing weight isn't very easy, I KNOW! I am trying to lose weight too, and it's hard specially when the family doesn't stop bringing in junk food.

1. finding an effective excersize...i cant run though so dont suggest that please: How does Sarah (me) exercise? personally, I LOVE dancing. If you don't enjoy dancing, then aerobics, if not aerobics, then swimming, if not then basketball, if not then Badminton, it's easier than tennis.

I suggest you talk to your parents about this. At least ask them to put the junk food in a place where you can't see it. But don't just blame your parents, blame yourself. You grab the chips, you are the one holding the fork when you're eating!

=> Fruit and vegetables, what else?!

4. finding a way to keep calm at dinner and not go over bored=> You mean you don't want to have dinner? this part isn't very clear. Oh, I think you mean you want to eat less... here's what you should do, eat in a smaller plate, it helps.

Q: Well, there is this girl that I'm okay friends with, but now don't really like her that much anymore. My boyfriend is starting to hang out with her more and talk to her more. Sometimes talking to her more on AOL than me. While I was away for two weeks my boyfriend went on a choir trip to Six Flags. Ashley (the girl that I'm okay friends with) and my boyfriend hung out the whole time. IE. Rode rides together, walked together, got food and ate it together. That doesn't make you're girlfriend feel very good, but now she's in his info. It's an inside joke with her, but surprisingly it's about the same lenght as me in his info. Well, my whole info is about him. Am I being stupid to be mad, that's what he said.

No, its not stupid at all. But you should be the perfect girlfriend and trust your boyfriend. I know its hard for you to see him with another girl, but maybe you're just with him so much that he's starting to kind of suffocate. So allow this to happen, play it cool.Again, it's not stupid, it's normal. Next time he says that to you, why dont you say "what would you do if you saw me hanging out with a guy?"

Q: Theres this guy that i like. I see him usually twice a week. Well the think is his mom, she looked find last week but then when i saw her today she looked kinda pale and yellow. Maybe even a little tierd. I dont think shes worn out or anything but i have a feeling she might be sick... does anyone know any sicknesses that have the symtoms of pale/yellow skin?

I dont think you should worry about that. Its probably stress, or shes not taking enough vitamins, or hypotension (blood pressure drops) cause she didnt eat well or hypoglycemia,related to eating too (blood sugar drops) or is coming down with something like a cold or a flu. The last thing im thinking of is maybe , excuse me for saying that, her period.

you shouldnt jump to conclusions.Does he "like her like her" as in "would love to go on a date with her" ? or just "shes really nice and I like her, as a friend" thats what you should find out.
So next time you talk to him, ask him "why dont you ask "X" out since you like her?"
If it turns out he realy likes her, you have to accept it, im sorry. I dont think you can force him to like you :(

Thats pretty natural. You are searching for love, you love your crush and you want what happens in movies to happen to you too. I understand how you feel. Every time I see the ad of "romance night" , I get touched. Specially when they start singing "this is no ordinary love, no ordinary love" (its an arabic channel but has english movies).

no no no, definately no throwing up. And stop taking those pills. The people who sell them dont really test them. You said yourself that theyre not doing anything! Theyre just messing with your body! So my advice is : stop taking those pills(1). Now,2, sit ups and exercises for the abdomen are the best. Dont expect any results right away. It takes time of course.
I'll give you another exercise for legs and belly:
sit on any chair, straighten up your back. Then join your legs together and start lifting them. You'll actually feel the muscles of your legs and abs stretch.

Q: Today I was standing in a grassy area when my friend ran at me and knocked me over. I hit the back of my head very hard on the ground and my whole head started aching. I had to lie on the ground for about ten minutes because I couldn't get up. My friend walked me home to make sure I was okay and I felt better. Now I have started to feel sick, my head hurts a lot and I feel very weak and tired. I have had concussion before but my vision was distorted and I actually threw up that time. Is this just normal because I knocked my head or have I got concussion or something?

My friend had a concussion too and I think you have one. If you still feel sick, dizzy, etc. I suggest (I cant order you, im not your parent or guardian) you go to the hospital.

I think you should be honest and tell him. If he really loves you he must understand how hard for you it was to tell the truth. Its not like you asked to be raped, he has to understand that too.

Q: Last night I tried to kill yself by ODing on sleeping pills. It didnt work though obviously. All that I remember is my dad bringing me into bed and my body started spazing out. I woke up this morning feeling really sick. And really upset because it didnt work.And the sad thing is htough.. If it had... I'm sure that my dad wouldnt have noticed and my mother wouldnt have noticed becaused she was on drugs and passed out. I just dont know what to do with my self. I need some advice. I also feel embarassed.. because after I tok the pills (they were sleeping pills) I wasnt in the right state of mind.. and one of my teachers IMed me when I was online and we had a conversation about stuff becasue I asked them if they ever knew a friend that tried to commit suicide... Anyway, I still don't get why some people try to commit suicide! this is a sign of depression, you must find the cause of the depression and solve the problem. You cant run away from you problems by killing yourself, this is a sign of weakness. After you kill yourself you'll be known as "the weak girl" or guy. (I have a feeling you're a female).

Q: Hi. Some might say that my subject for this question seems humorous but I'm desperate.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 8 months. He lives in Texas and I'm in Oregon. Yes, this is an internet relationship, but it's lasted this long. So, something has to be working.

She now doesn't allow me to call him anymore. I've resorted to sneaking the phone after she's gone to sleep. Just because I wanted to hear his voice. Talking online makes allows me and him to talk, but it's too easy to get distracted while online. I've been caught sneaking the phone and because of that she's started hiding it.

Please, I need some help. I don't know how to make my grandma understand that I love him and I don't care what race he is. I've tried to tell her, but it doesn't seem to get through. I just want her to accept it. Please, I'm up for any advice. Thank you!

Just confront your grandma and ask her "He's hispanic, so what?"

No, I believe (all muslims too, its all in the holy quran) that when a person dies, the angel of death comes with two other angels to capture the person's soul. They will put the soul in a coffin (you cant actually see all of this) . Then they will take the coffin above. The smell that comes from the coffin depends on the person. If it smells good, its a good person, if it smells bad , its a bad person. Once the person's burried, they will take their soul to where the person's burried . The 2 angels will ask three questions:
1- Whos your god?
2- Whats your religion?
3- Who is the man that God sent to you? (prophet or messenger)
If this person gets all the answers correct, the angels will expand the place the person lies in, and open some sort of window that shows the place the person's gonna be in when he/she goes to heaven.
If the answers are all wrong, the place the person lies in will be tightened and the angels will open a window showing hell.
The person will be watching one of these 2 scenes (it depends on the person) until the end of the world . After that its another story
The soul will stay down there, its not amongst us.

Well, it's not like your mom would scream at you or anything. If she or his dad picks up ask to talk to him politely "Good morning/afternoon/evening Ma'm or Mrs. family name, or Sir or Mr. family name. May I speak with "K" please?"
If they ask who it is just say "it's "your name" "
