my friends mom is lets say not the nicest person in the world. my friend comes into school with bruses (not big ones but they shoulden't be there in the first place) and fingernail marks on her. i ask her and she just says her mom and her got in an argument, and not to worry, but i do. i really want to help her but i don't know what to do. please help (link)

You should really tell her to go talk to somebody about this! This could be physical abuse! Hopefully she wont get mad that your talking about it but tell her your worried about her and you want to help! Tell her to talk to the school counselor or another 'trusted adult' like maybe a favorite teacher! But i would definately get help for her!

I was talking to this girl from my class on the phone today and I realized that she is pretty cool and I want to be friends with her. The thing is that she is not very popular and I'm afraid that if I start hanging out with her, my other friends won't want to hang with me and might diss me. Am I being shallow or stupid? All kids talk about these days is being popular! I mean does it matter!? I mean im considered a 'prep' and 'cool' but when one of my friends hang out with another person....they are all nice and talk to that person! So maybe you should start talking and be friends with her and then introduce her to your friends! If you like her and think shes really cool....but your 'popular' friends dont like her....still hang out with both, i doubt your 'pop.' friends will ditch you because of that!

Its not wrong to like a younger guy....it matters what YOU like and not what everyone else likes! Be your own self and go for it! Go out with him! And its not stupid to go out with a younger guy....the only disadvantage would be is that they might nto be mature as the ones your age! But so what, take chances! Go out with him!

Well since its going to be 72degrees you might want to wear something cool! Like maybe shorts but i think capris would be really cute with cute flip-flops! Also just a cute t-shirt will do! lol but it kidna depends if you are cold-natured or warm-natured! But your hair, you should definately wear it up....going out and looking at cars can get you really hot! So put it in a cute messy bun or just throw it up in a pony-tail! I have glasses and I think that is the reason why no boyz like me. My friend, Zoe, is beautiful, gets all the boyz, all the girlz wanna be her friend, and she gets like an I-POD and an electric gutair and stuff. But, anyway, I think I am nice, cool, quiet, all my friends even say so, so I just dont understand why no boyz like me. I think its just becuz I wear glasses and that hurts. What can I do to get a boy to like me?

NO its NOT because of your glasses! i promise! its so funny becuase my cousin Brandi is SO pretty but she wears glasses! every guy likes her for her personality and it seems like you ahve a great one too! please dont feel like its your glasses! its not! and eventually the right guy will come along and like you for who you are! right now most guys are jerks, they just want to mess around with you, make out, etc,they dont really care about you....most of them but not all of them are like that!

If you go to a hair salon you need to look on the shelf for Frizz Control things! I prefer Redken because its like the best! lol but yea just look in a hair salon and you will find Frizz Control stuff!

I dyed my hair yesterday and i always straighten/flat iron my hair and i was wondering if its safe to flat iron it after i dyed it? would it dye it out? my hair is well conditioned so it doesnt look or feel dye but i was just making sure. Thanks! (link)

I too got my hair dyed sort of (back to my natural color) and they dyed it close as they could to my natural hair color and i use a flat iron/ straightener every day and my color has stayed but i havent heard anything about what you said! i think your color will stay!

Okey, my friend told me to ask this question. She has been shaving her mustach for about a year now..and it looks really bad!! what can she do? she cant wax because she gets rashes and for some reason it doesnt even work..and she cant tweez because there's too much hair. Well since shes like allergic or whatever to EVERYTHING then i would suggest laser removing! Thats really sad that happened to her....dang that sucks but get the laser thingy!

You defiently need to tell him the total truth! Guys really hate it when you tell them something cheesy like "its not you its me" ya know but you should defiently tell him your falling for his friend and if you think its right then go out with his guy friend! Wow, why is so many people losing there virginity at 14? Dont let your friends be an influence on you! Stand up for whats right! So many kids these days are losing there virginity at like 12! I dont't think thats true...I have never heard of that before! But Atkins is not a very healthy diet...my aunt went on it and she hated it! I know everyone says this but excercising and drinking lots of water will make you muscle....no fat! So try and get into a local gym or something! ;) Hope i helped! [H][U][G][S]

I think that you should talk to your best friend, i mean she is your bestfriend! and if she says no, then shes probably telling the truth. Me and my bf always tell each other if our crushs are liking us! If her crush doesnt like her, i ask him and he says "no" then i will tell her!!
