im depressed. i have ALL the signs of teen depression [ i looked them up ]

i dont feel myself lately. i dont like me. i cant sleep. i cry for no reason. im really mean to people around me. this year my grades went from A's and B's...to all F's.

ugh...any ideas on how to tell my mom? i want to tell her i need to see a theripist but im scared of how to bring it up and stuff..

i know how that feels.. seriously.. tell her you want to speak to a therapist to get some of your emotions out that have been bottled up.. she should understand.. you do need to tell her so u can get help

ok so for the 4th im going to this crazy party..there will be alcohol..firewors..etc. of course we dont want any of our parents to come pick us up from this party because we will be too tipsy plus it will be too late...we are thinking of calling a taxi to take us home..my dad works the nightshift so he wont be home and my mom almost always falls asleep early..do you think if we had the taxi drop me off at the bottom of the hill from where i live ( a country road) and turn its headlights off so nobody will be awaken by me..think it wwill work out? if my mom is laying in bed and is awake by chance..and she asks why im home so late i can just say because my friends family were out at this 4th of july fireworks display 45 minutes away and thats why im late (1 am im thnkin of being home)

It sounds like it should work.. i've snuck out and stuff before.. never got caught! always have a "back up" line.. and u do so thats good. Drink half of what your gonna.. or dont drink hard alcohol.. when you go home shoiwer right away too to sober up!

A lot of times my back hurts when I'm sitting in one position for just a couple of minutes. And I don't know what it is! Does anybody have any suggestions as to what this pain is? I rate high.

Okay I met an older guy a couple of weeks ago when I was out with friends. We exchanged numbers and he tried calling once... but now that I am changing phones and don't currently have one we don't talk as often. There are a few things he hasn't been telling me.. like court dates and why he still has his old number from a different state..and wants me to bring new friends. Should I plan to meet him or forget about him?

I wouldn't forget him completely... to be honest I'd ask him about those issues you just brought up. Maybe he's emberassed and wants you not to know about him. It's always safer to meet someone with a group too :)

ok my friend amber asked me to go on a cruise with her..so at first i was thinking "omg! this is so great!!! i wanna go soooo bad!" so i told her i would. now that the cruise is getting closer and closer...i'm having some serious second thoughts. i always get homesick - i can bairly get through a single sleepover without crying myself to sleep. i seriously need my own bed..and now that my dad is sick i really dont want to leave (he needs surgery but it stubbern and refuses to get it!)! now im having these thoughts more and more and im totally freaking out..its for 4 days and i need advice like i need oxygen! Omg no cruises are so much fun.. i just got back from one.. i've gone one about 7 of them..it's a diff feeling then home but you'll be having so much fun the time will go bye so fast! I am the same way.. I don't spend the night at my friends houses.. GO US! haha but birng some things to make you feel at home.. maybe your pillow or a stuffed animal .. it's not that long of a cruise.. trust me.. you'll be glad you went on it cuz it's a good memory!

That's tricky.. you're kinda stuck. I'd talk to him and tell him where you are coming from and how you're stuck in the middle. Then he'd be able to get a better understanding of the situation and so would you!

If you go to the Doctor's and get tested to see if you are a virgin or not, could it come up posotive even if you haven't had sex?

you mean to see if your hymen broke... then can normally tell if it has.. if you haven't had sex then theres nothing to wortry about.. but useing tampons, falling off a bike or riding a horse to hard could break your hymen to!

I've liked this guy for forever. But, I can't wait on him. I know he doesn't like me more than a friend and I know I won't stop liking him insanely for a while. There's also this other guy, his friend, and my friend. Well, my friend Tammy had an idea that I should go out with his friend to make him jealous. But, what if we get into a nasty break up and they both turn against me? What should I do? Theres this guy that i like. I see him usually twice a week. Well the think is his mom, she looked find last week but then when i saw her today she looked kinda pale and yellow. Maybe even a little tierd. I dont think shes worn out or anything but i have a feeling she might be sick... does anyone know any sicknesses that have the symtoms of pale/yellow skin?

hmm im not to sure but there are prob some sicknesses like eating disorders..it makes you look fatigue and tired... she could just have the flu.. the flu makes you worn down.. you could look up some of her symptoms on yahoo maybe?

I dread going to school everyday. I hate it this year and its not my 1st year of highschool. I hate mosta my classes and the people in them...i can never get motovated to go and plus my school sucks big time. My parents always say "well having my job is worse" but my school sucks pretty hard. I hate it and sumtimes i even wish it would burn down lol. Is there sumthin that i can do to not dread it so much?

omg i feel the same way as you. last year i didnt mind it being a frosh.. but now as a sophmore i hate it. its so tough haha. but just know everyone HATES it also.. and i can guarentee ur not the only one thats dreads it! :)
