I dread going to school everyday. I hate it this year and its not my 1st year of highschool. I hate mosta my classes and the people in them...i can never get motovated to go and plus my school sucks big time. My parents always say "well having my job is worse" but my school sucks pretty hard. I hate it and sumtimes i even wish it would burn down lol. Is there sumthin that i can do to not dread it so much?
juicyfruit answered Monday September 20 2004, 2:22 am: Well honestly I almost wasn't going to answer this because I'm the last person you'd go to about school considering I dropped out BUT...I figure I'd give you my perspective.
I know exactly how you feel, because I felt the same way a few months ago. I hated waking up so early, I hated having to see my ex and his gf every day. I hated the homework, the assemblies, the teachers, everything. I couldn't handle it anymore so I dropped out. I honestly don't regret my decision. I'm getting my GED soon and I'm going to get a at-home degree in whatever I want to become. :) People say dropping out of high school is the worst mistake I'll ever make and that everyone has to go to college. But you really DON'T have to! I know plenty of pepole who have dropped out of high school in the past and are successful. I'm not worried about my career. I am very determined and ambitious. Hopefully you are too.
I'm sure you don't want to drop out of high school though...I don't know what else to say. I hope my advice "touched" you in some way!

liddylflirtx3 answered Sunday September 19 2004, 9:33 pm: Try thinking about the positive things left in school - you don't have that many years left, lunch time is the best time to socialize, and the hours/ days do go by pretty quickly! =)
If you still aren't satisfied with your local highschool and really want a change to get you more motivated in going to school, talk to your parents or counsler about changing schools or how to change the one you're at to your liking!
xo_APRiL answered Sunday September 19 2004, 9:03 pm: I think all you can do is just deal with it. Maybe you could try & be more social & not miss any school days if you can help it, like ferngully said, every day you miss, one step closer to failing. Is there any way you can transfer to another school? [ xo_APRiL's advice column | Ask xo_APRiL A Question ]
crazyxbeautiful__x407 answered Sunday September 19 2004, 8:45 pm: I`ve gone through this for three years now & when it comes down to it; it`s up to Y0U to just deal with it. There is no way around unless you want to become a drop out & have to work the rest of your life for just enough money to get by, or even not enough. The best thing to do is just to tough it out. I hate it, but I`ve realized that it`s best that I go & just deal with it. It`s easier if you find something in it to enjoy, like getting to see friends or a boyfriend, or sports. So, just enjoy anything that you can about it & go & deal with it. It`s something that you have to do, so find a way to like something about it. Hope I helped.

xxxxxx answered Sunday September 19 2004, 8:28 pm: i used to hate my middle school too (it was public school) and it was terrible, i had problems with almost everyone and so many people hated me for no reason. and every morning i'd wake up and hate going to school. but i was just nice to everyone and stuck with all my friends and it was okay for the most part. now i'm in high school and i love it cause i go to a catholic school high school. so if you really hate your school, i'd suggest transfering to a private school or a catholic school. that way everyones wearing the same thing and people are usually SO much nicer there, and have good disipline and stuff... but i hope everything works out with you! BeautifulLiarMM answered Sunday September 19 2004, 8:22 pm: Just think about how much you hate everyone and plot their death one by one in a notebook or something or just think that people don't know it now but one day you'll be famous and they'll wanna know you... it'll make an intresting topic to be interviewed on when you rise above all these people in school..... This is what helps me anyways
JesusFreak2006 answered Sunday September 19 2004, 8:02 pm: a similar case like this i already answered to day but it helps to focus on something else like when i felt the way your feeling i became a Christian and focued on Christ..and also helps to get more involved with friends and get better relationships with them to help you through it or maybe even have a good relationship with a teacher to have an adult help your through things...what your going through is completely normal most kids go through it...or you could focus on your future plans be like i havta get through one more day so im closer to what i wanna do when im older and do that each day...
