If you'd like to get him a stoRe bought gift, tRy keepin' it simple. SpRing foR some posteRs, a leatheR jacket, nice cologne, a cute wRist watch, a gift caRd, a video game system, books, oR DVD's. Also, if he dRives... definitely go foR a *GAS CARD*. Those aRe pRicey, but he'd be thankful! OR if you'd be willing to spend the dough, you could always take him to a fancy dinneR. OR you could MAKE him dinneR!! If you'Re up to the challenge, you could tRy stuffed chicken bReasts with potatoes of some soRt with a fResh gaRden salad and sundaes foR desseRt! Ooooh, oR LASAGNA!! And if you wanna get cReative, how 'bout you just go to the paRk?? BRing a blanket and some music! And pack a picnic lunch, which doesn't have to be difficult. It can consist of tuRkey sandwiches on slice bRead, gRapes, wateRmelon, pRetzels, twinkies etc. And make shoRe you bRing a cRap load of bRead to feed the duckies!! -OR- anotheR suggestion... you could always make him a posteR oR a scRapbook. You could use maRkeRs, photogRaphs, quotes and so on. How about making him some soRt of little quilt with pRotective cleaR pockets that you can inseRt pictuRes into, and take them out to wash easily. Bottom line, it's the thought that counts, and whateveR you do I'm shoRe he'll love!! Just be cReative and have fun!! :D

My best advice is, getting something that he is interested in. It really doesn't matter the present as long as it is something special and picked out specially. Something he will be able to pick up a yr from now, and remember when, where, and who he got it from. That is the most important thing. Just try to go along with what he seems interested in. Music, sports, movies, and stuff like that is usually a safe bet. Also, for a simpler idea, gift cards are great. If you are realy unsure, then gift cards are the way to go.
