Ohhkay. Where to start. I'm confused. It really would be great to get some older opinions on this question. My topic is: teenage love. What does everyone think of it? Because all my friends, or a fair few, will have a boyfriend who they keep for a week or a month or two and they'll be from day one, "head over heels in love". Now, I for one think that's ridiculous! They're 15/16 year olds and, in particular examples, they'll have a week or two, maybe a month of I love You after they met about 2 days previously - or online or something, and then it stops. I for one think that love can't be anything more than infatuation, but I think this has become the image of teenage love. Now I started going out with my boyfriend 11 months ago and I knew I didn't love him at the start. It was like a 15 year old crush on both parts. I didn't admit to myself I loved him until about 5 months had passed. And even then I didn't say it verbally. Now, at 11 months I feel like I can talk about it freely with him and we've never been closer; I really can't see the end right now, even though everything inevitably ends. But my parents seem to think that it won't last and I'm being ridiculous, wanting to see him so much. They say it won't last, although compared to my friends, me and my boyfriend are practically an old aged married couple - they say its ridiculous that tennagers can possibly even contemplate the meaning of the word 'love'. They also say that what I have is hardly a commitment or any kind of dedication even though I feel completely commited , which I will admit came with time (about a month or two, even more so now). I just want to know - is this true? Have any of you ever experienced or seen 'teen love' do anything but crash and burn compared to the relationships people have when slightly older? Do you think that for some people, like me, it could last? Or is it, in your opinion also, likely to end and be forgotten about? Do you think there is more of a sense of commitment when you're more mature or an equal amount?

I, like you, thought me and my boyfriend were meant to last forever. He got really hardcore into drugs after 2 1/2 years of dating, and ended up beating the living shit out of me and we broke up. All I'm saying is, be careful, because no one should have to deal with abuse. Best of luck.

Chill out for a second and let's look at this in a calm manner.
Yes, SEX hurts. Not DOING IT. If you feel you need to refer to it as that then you shouldn't be engaging in sexual activities in the first place.
Secondly, you are probably not pregnant, but there is still that chance. Just chill out and if you miss your period, go take a pregnancy test.

Don't worry too much about what other people are saying about you because that's not what matters in the end. I know what you mean though, I've been that girl and if you're worried about what other people around you are saying or thinking it just makes things harder because you feel worse. Do what you do.

I am playing about 15 or more hours of soccer a week and i recently got elbowed in my arm. It hurts alot. I figured that I would just rest it and it would feel better, but the other day by friend bumped into my arm and i started hysterical crying. I dont think its supposed to hurt that bad. It could possibly be a hairline fracture because if your friend bumped into it and it hurt really bad it might have been the two fractured bones to vibrate and hurt really badly. Go to a doctor.

A: It really depends. Have you been stretched before, by fingering or other means? Can you get a tampon in easily. If you can get a tampon in easily, your hymen is probably already broken. But overall, sex doesn't hurt too much, just make sure your lubricated and he goes slow until you're used to it. It will hurt and you'll feel alot of pressure at first, but it gets better.
Q: How do you know your cherry popped?
A: It may have already been popped before you have sex, which is why many women don't bleed. I didn't bleed my first time, for the sole fact that my boyfriend popped my cherry when he fingered me.
Q: Is it awkward seeing your partner/having him see you?
A: Honestly, at first, yeah. But if you're comfortable enough having sex, the nervousness wears off and you feel comfortable.

I've got a landing strip and I love it. I don't like the bald look but I don't like alot of hair either. If you do choose the landing strip though, keep it neat and trimmed or it ruins the whole point of having it.

whats the best way to get rid of poison ivy? i have like this big bump on my finger and its like filled with fluid or something.. should i pop it? and now its starting to grow on my other fingers and my arm.. what should i do? would this keep on spreading?? HELP (link)

OMG, it does not spread from the fluid in the puss. Trust me, I had a huge, very infected case all over my legs and other parts of my body, so bad I had to go to an emergency clinic for it. The fluid in the bumps is mainly water, it is not the oil from the ivy plants.
If it itches, ice it and take Benadryll. If after a week it keeps spreading, go to the doctor. And it's fine to take a Popsicle stick and push all the fluid out of the bumps, because once poison ivy rashes dry up, they go away a lot faster. WARNING: It's gross to pop the blisters though. Ick. But go for it if you want quicker relief.

Ive been told that you can still be preg. even if you get your period.. You're most likely not pregnant. But think about how your period was...was it different in length of time it lasted or flow? Because if it was, I'd take a pregnancy test just to be sure. Peace of mind is all you need.

Tell him what you told us. And make sure it's not just your friends that think he's clingy, because if you don't mind it, then there's no problem. And if you have to have your friends tell him for you, then your too immature to be in a relationship anyways.

Alright so in the middle of like May I got birth control. I started it right when I got it because I had just finished my period and that's when you're suppossed to start. Anyways, the last week in June I got my period (a little late but that's normal i guess) but it was EXTRMEMLY heavy and I honestly thought I was having a miscarrage (im a virgin so i knew i wasnt but thats how bad it was) and I even had to leave work early. Anyways, on Friday (today's Sunday) I noticed that I was getting my period AGAIN. After only a week. It's extrememly light this time and it's more of a brown color (sorry if that's too graphic) and I can get away with a light tampon all day.
Is this normal for being on birth control or should I be worried?

In all honestly..can some precum get you pregnant? My bf have sex and we like to not use a condem for like 30 seconds at first. then he puts one on..and we go for 5-7 minutes usually (sometimes less sometimes a minute or so more) and he finishes. the likliness of me getting pregnant isnt all that high right?

I'll be honest, my boyfriend and I rarely used condoms. At all. Is this safe? No. Am I advocating unprotected sex? No. But I'm telling you, I've gone 7 months, using no condoms, him just pulling out before he came, and haven't gotten pregnant. The deal is though, he tends not to show much precum at all, in fact, I've never even see him precum, when giving him a handjob or blowjob. But I'm not saying he doesn't. I'm just trying to ease your mind about this. People are just telling you that you can get pregnant because, well, you can. It IS possible, but it is not as probable as you might think. But still, to be safe, I would go on birth control pills. It will give you peace of mind. It's what I did. =)
I have the same complaint. My boyfriend doesn't normally last very long the first time but the solution to that is to go again. But if you are going without a condom for the first 30 seconds and it is the second time going, DO NOT GO WITHOUT A CONDOM AT ALL. Because there could still be sperm leaking from his penis and that can get you pregnant easier than precum. So if you're going a second time, use a condom all the way. Okay?
I wouldn't worry about it. But I also wouldn't do it again. Just try and stop stressing and wait for your period to come. If you stress it'll be later and then you'll just freak out more. If you don't get it in the next week, take another pregnancy test.

Where I went to at Planned Parenthood they gave me the option of saving the testing until I came back for my three month refill and since I was soo scared about getting the blood test and also running out of time to catch my ride, I opted to wait until next time. So no, I haven't been tested yet, but at Planned Parenthood it's mandatory after the three month mark.
They basically explain all of the side effects, and give you a talk about effectivness and STD's and explain how to take your birth control. They also have you ask them questions and are really helpful.

It's possible you need a break from this relationship to sort things out and clear your head, which could help stop the fighting. Especially if he is not listening to you when you try and talk to him about it, it could be a serious reality check for him if you tell him you wanna take a break.
So either, break it off for now or try talking to him again, without fighting.
The one thing you need to remember is that not everyone who decides to "take a break" does not always get back together, despite everything. Just a risk to keep in mind.
