I wanna dye my hair blue
Hello!im 11 and i wanna dye my hair blue don't worry my parents are okay with it!:D im also aware that ill have to bleach it which causes breakage but im worried about my school suspending me if i come into class with blue hair i really want to dye it i wont regret it at all so im wondering what should i do?

Bleach only causes breakage and extreme damage if you dont do it properly and lighten it slow enough (depending on how dark your hair is) you have to bleach it a few times if you have really dark hair so it would be best if you found out asap so you could start bleaching now little by little.
If you dont trust yourself to bleach it correctly then go to a salon and just have that part of it done then do the blue at home yourself.
you could even bleach and dye just the underneath part of your head so that you can cover it and wear you hair down in school so its not "distracting" and then wearing it up and show it off when your not in school.
and remember that blue can fade to a nasty green so be prepared to either maintain the blue until your hair grows out again, or buy a separate darker color like purple or something to cover the nasty green.

Look at your schools dress code policy and see what it says about your hair. If it says you can't have bright, distracting colors then don't do it. Or just dye it temporarily for the Summer. Hoped that I could help.

If the only issue is regarding whether the school has policys against it, then the easiest thing to do is ask. If your parents are cool with it, then have them ask, better coming from them so the school already knows you have their full backing on this.

Well, I'm pretty sure a lot of schools won't suspend you for that, but I don't know what type you go to. Honestly, its your hair and you should do whatever you want, but if you're really worried about it, then maybe either dye just a little bit of your hair blue, (because I went to a private school last year and dyed the tips red and they didn't care) or just do like a fake dye and see what happens? That way you won't have to go through the huge process for nothing. If all else fails, how about you or your parent Just ask the school about it?
