Baby sitting is a great way to make money at your age. My advice is tell your mom you want to take a CPR course. She will most likely love that. After you have taken the course you can become CPR certified. After that just ask neighbors if they need help with their kids!

You can do chores for neighbors. If it snows where you live, you can shovel snow in their driveway. If not, then you can mow their lawn, wash their cars, rake leaves, ect.
You have a type of yard sale and sell things you no longer want or need.
You can bake cookies or cupcakes and have a bake sale.
If you know how to make anything else, you can sell those too.
You can take neighbors trash to the curb on trash day for like a dollar or two. Even though that's not much, if you do like 10 or 20 houses, you'll get $10 or $20. It's a simple and easy job.
You can collect cans and bottles and recycle them. Going door to door can help you get tons more than what you just have in your house.
You can babysit.
You can petsit or housesit a neighbors house while they are out of town. Like feed their pets while they are away.
You can even walk dogs for money.
If it's hot out where you live, it's pretty hot here in California, you can have a lemonade stand.
If you know how to play music, you can go outside and make money from tips.
I'm not sure where you live, but you can check and see if you can do a paper route and deliver newspaper.
If you're good at math or some other subject, you can tutor other kids who need help.

You could sell some of the items you no longer want.

You could sell some of your old clothes at a second hand shop.

Scrapping/recycling can make a nice amount. If you can get someone to drive the things you find to a recycling center you can collect heavy metals as well as small soda cans.

You could also help people load their groceries into their car and usually they will tip a dollar.

If you can bake you can try selling some baked cookies, cupcakes, muffins at places like a conner hair salon/barber shop or laundry mat.

Ashleys right, ask neighbors if you can do any work for them. I had so many people come ask if I'd hire them for yard work but I loved gardening and doing it myself. So the trick is to find someone who doesnt have the time or simply hates doing the task themselves.
I recently saw something on Facebook, a video, you tube I think about two sisters much younger than you, and they would go to neighbors their parents knew, who owned dogs and offered to routinely come over and scoop up all their dogs poop in the yard. They actually have a full schedule of customers and make a good amount of money and they're elementary school age and they get repeat work because they actually do good work and the owners don't like that job.
Another idea is walking dogs. I didnt mind walking our dog on fair days but when it was windy or rainy I didn't want to go. I would have paid a teenager to take my dog on those days.
So keep thinking, something a person is not willing to do themselves. You might start asking people randomly in public, maybe at the mall, just ask any adult telling them you have a question for a research project. they might think it was for school. Ask them if they can name any task they do that they really hate to do and so put it off or just let it go til it gets real bad. Write down the responses. Next ask if they would be willing to pay someone to do it for them if it was reasonable. Go over the answers to see if there is a pattern of certain jobs people hate but would be willing to have someone else do.
Kids can do some jobs pretty good and can afford to charge less because they dont have overhead expenses as a professional adult doing the same. But if u do good work and are consistant your name will get passed around and you may have to drag in a friend or two who are equally good and trustworthy to take the overflow of jobs you can't.

good luck!

hi :) im 13 to, and i totally know how you feel! and i hate to say it, but there aren't many ways to earn money. most of mine comes from holidays, and then sometimes i do chores. if you really want money to buy clothes, or go to the movies with your friends or something, go around the neighborhood with your mom or dad, and ask people if you can do any chores for them (mow the lawn, rake leaves, paint) or you could try to do baby sitting or dog walking if your friends with anyone in the neighborhood. but there really is not to many ways at our age to earn money. i cant really go out with my friends, because i dont have any money, so i feel ya!! srry if this didnt help! but hopefully you figure something out :)
