What constitutes as losing your virginity?

Question Posted Friday August 9 2013, 12:58 am

Does losing your virginity mean that you've had a man's penis enter you or is it only when your cherry pops? I just had sex I guess but I did not orgasm, nor did my cherry pop but he came sooo?

What you call virginity is your choice. It's whatever you feel it is.
In most cases, it's when you've had sexual intercourse, penis in vagina.
Some people consider losing their virginity as oral sex, or anal sex too. I mean gay men and lesbians don't consider themselves virgins when they have sex with their partner and then don't have penis in vagina sex.
So really, it's whatever you personally want it to be.

Most of the time you have actual sex, you won't orgasm unless he pays a lot of attention to your clitoris.
Also, you don't "pop your cherry". That refers to your hymen, I'm sure you know that. And hymens aren't supposed to "break" or "tear" I mean, you can tear them and you end up bleeding but that's because you guys did it wrong.
Your hymen doesn't cover your whole vagina. (Obviously, or else you wouldn't be able to get a tampon up there)It stretches.
Most of the the time, girls bleed because the guy when too fast or too rough or there wasn't enough lubrication. So it's a good thing you didn't bleed.

Having an orgasm has nothing to do with losing your virginity. You can have an orgasm from fingering or masturbating which has nothing to do with virginity.

If a boys penis entered you vagina:

1) Your Cherry was popped. ie: If your Hyman was still intact it was dislodged or broken at that time you may not have felt any pain. Your Hymen is located at the opening of your Vagina and will stretch to a certain extent allowing the insertion of a tampon through the hole in it to allow menstrual blood to drain. A Hyman can be dislodged in many other ways than sexual penetration and you still remain a virgin.

@) Your virginity is lost the moment a boys penis enters your vagina. It does not matter if he ejaculates or how far he inserts himself. If the head of his penis gets inside your vagina you have lost your virginity by today's definition.

It doesn't matter. Unless you were going to have sex just this once, ever. However you lawyer the word "virginity", sooner or later (I'm betting on sooner) you will lose your V-card.

For a female to lose her virginity, a man's penis has to penetrate her vagina. If this is your first time having sex, then yeah you just gave your virginity to the guy.

You didn't "Lose" anything. This should be thought of as your sexual debut with a guy. Most likely you were exploring your sexuality on your own by masturbation with hands or toys. That counts too.
The cherry or hymen stretches like a rubber band, so use of tampons and vibrators or your fingers can stretch it out so that you feel nothing, if it is really tight and stretched too quickly on some women and without lube, it can tear the skin a bit. At any point in your sex life no matter if teen or senior citizen, if not using enough lube, both he and you can feel a soreness somewhere on the penis or somewhere on the outer vaginal area or inside and if no lube is used right away, it goes from soreness to a kind of ripping of the skin.
I hope you are using birth control. If not, go to Planned parenthood asap. You want to be able to enjoy your sexuality without worry about a late period due to some other reason like a recent illness or stress.
And finally, a fun video on how you can't pop the cherry. Watch this gals other videos. She has lots to teach on sexuality and relationships.
