I don't think jeans is a good thing to wear when you're working out, and there's a few reasons why. The first reason is, if you're working out in a gym it's not polite to wear jeans to the gym and work out, second of all jeans aren't designed for working out, if you look at work out clothes they have mesh on it so that when you're sweating or it's getting hot the mesh will air you out, it's also designed so that the material is thin and comfortable making it easier for you to move around in, and third of all it's not comfortable to move/stretch around in.

Working out in fabric that can easily move with your body and is breathable is best. [ yibelle's advice column | Ask yibelle A Question ]

pseudophun answered Friday October 19 2012, 5:29 pm: I don't recommend jeans for working out at all, and here's why.
Denim is not designed to breathe. It holds in heat and moisture, which can cause you to overheat. Also, the moisture from sweating will make the jeans heavier and put strain on your muscles.
You should invest in some yoga pants.
They're comfortable, they breathe and they wick sweat away from your body so you don't feel damp all the time.
They're also great for lounging around and eating ice cream in. [ pseudophun's advice column | Ask pseudophun A Question ]
carayotie answered Friday October 19 2012, 4:45 pm: Probably not.
But it's really up to you and what you're comfortable in. I find jeans are very restricting and mine always fall down haha.
Go for a pair of sweats, shorts, or (if you're female) a pair of yoga pants. But again, it's your own preference. [ carayotie's advice column | Ask carayotie A Question ]
