actually your weight is fine i m 6'1" and 230 pounds and if you really want to lose weight you can reduce 20-25 pounds in less than 10 weeks by working out a lot but you need to reduce your calories in meals that's the main thing you need to stop "CALORIE"

It may be better to look at fat loss versus looking at the scale. If you're working out a lot, then you may gain more muscle, which weighs more. More muscle also burns more calories in the long run - and looks better. Running gives a slimmer look. If you don't like running, you might try fast walking and running sprints (about 5 minutes) off and on during the walk. This may build up your stamina for longer runs. Though there has been a lot of controversy about the Atkins diet, this is a diet I used in my 20's and 30's with great results when trying to slim down. I ate a steak or chicken breast (fat cut off) and veggies (usually broccoli) for dinner. I really avoided carbs like breads, but ate a little because we need those grains. I ate dinner, usually, no later than 4:00 pm. I fast walked around a local lake for about 1.5 hours in the evenings and worked out for about 1-2 hours in the gym in the a.m. Gym workouts were usually a mix of step aerobics or body pump, or yoga and weight equipment. If you can join a gym, they can help you measure your fat to muscle ratio.

20-25 pounds in less than 10 weeks is a big ask. To lose weight in a healthy sustainable way, without putting yourself in danger of overdoing it in the gym or developing eating disorders, you should aim to lose 1lb per week. Any more than that is asking for trouble.

Weight training will give you more bang for your buck in terms of fat loss and metabolism, so focus on that rather than endless cardio sessions.

As for calories, figure out what your daily requirement is according to the Harris Benedict equation [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), and aim to eat 500 calories less than that per day. Take measurements before you start, then after a week measure again and reassess your caloric needs, adjusting up or down as necessary. Don't forget to include a carb refeed once a week to keep your metabolism ticking over.

Of course you can! You can do anything you set your mind to.

Some key food for you would be the following:
-Pickle Juice! Many professional athletes use this!
-Spinach, so few calories and with a serving of some good, healthy salad dressing, it tastes great!
- Apples, if you eat one everyday they keep you from eating fewer calories!!! And they are super healthy
-Oats, few calories and fill you up
-Healthy yogurt, keeps hunger at bay and is good for ya!

You can also use acupressure as a "side-kick". It is kind of hard to explain so I will put up the link. But acupressure simply putting pressure on certain points of your body.

Lastly, exercise! You aid exercise for 1 hour a day. That is good but you have to work for it. Do squats while holding weights, look up some football training techniques. That oughta help!

I hope everything works out for you!
