At your height your weight is absolutely perfect. If anything you might want to ask the physical education teacher for ways to tone up certain parts of you body so that they are trim looking.

To give yourself and eating disorder to try and look like something you need not look like. Is not only wrong it is life threatening. As Zane said eating disorders cause damage to different organs in the body. When these organs get damaged they fail. If not caught early enough the failure of one organ leads to the failure of another until you die.

My wife's co-worker lost his daughter to Anorexia a few years ago. She was a Porrima Ballerina. She stopped eating to keep her weight down to an unreasonable level. She was in treatment for her disorder, unfortunately it was to little to late.

It is not worth it. We are what we are. Even the Super Models are not the healthy people they appear to be. Make up covers a lot of faults and airbrushing corrects those faults on photos.

In order for our bodies to operate properly they need food. Three well balanced meals a day and exercise. Given your height and weigh I would say you are doing the right thing to maintain a healthy body. Continue with what you are doing as you are now entering puberty and your body will be undergoing many changes. For those changes to be what you want them to be you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

When I was 12 and in sixth grade, I was 5'3'' and 125 lbs and also played softball. Like you, I was inspired of stories of other girls who had lost weight to be skinnier or prettier. In an effort to fit into my Bat-Mitzvah dress, I decided to take on the habit and become a bulimic.

And now I still am, over five years later.

So, if you can help it, I'd highly recommend seeing a nutritionist or finding other healthier ways to lose weight. Bulimia is a habit that you don't want to get into because once you start, you feel like you have to continue or you can't be the skinny and pretty person that your friends want to be with.

112 lbs is perfect, and is actually my favorite weight to be at. So, stick with it. You're fine, and you'll grow a little more and feel more accustomed to your body.

If you need any more help, message me.

Don't go bulimic, That is the worst thing you could ever possibly do to yourself.

Bulimic causes liver and kidney failure, hair loss, rotted teeth, infertility, irregular heart beat, Low blood pressure and death.

According to the weight chart at 5'3 low weight is 111 lbs. You are technically borderline UNDER weight. You do not need to loose weight

If your friends are bulimics then I highly recommend you find other friends. People who are bulimic have eating disorders and probably aren't the best people to be friends with. Find new friends, Trust me you do not want to go down that road.

I agree with the person below me, do not go bulimic like your friends. It's good that you know it is bad.

What I do sometimes when I want to lose about 10 pounds over 3 weeks is climb stairs for like 10-15 minutes everyday for those 3 weeks (there's 12 stairs and I go up and down, like jogging) for however many times it is and I bring my ice-cold water bottle with me and take a couple seconds break to drink, and when I feel like I've had enough, I stop and take my shower. But you said you have practice? On the days that you have practice, don't try to exercise more afterwards, even if you do feel energetic. You will overwork yourself.

As for diet, I would say you should just eat everything in moderation, even healthy foods. Drink plenty of water, (but not gallons at a time, throughout the day) and here's why;

I checked on Google for a height and weight chart and you are small for your height and weight. Here it is;

Scroll down to about half the page, and you can print it!

My stairs routine is what I use for toning and to lose just a couple pounds along with it.

I'm 14, 5'9" - 5'10" and I go out of the target weight sometimes so I gain a little or lose a little. Trust me though, you don't need to lose any weight, you need to gain like 20 pounds! But if you're comfortable with losing more, it is your body I can't control you, but I wouldn't do it.

I hope I helped, and good luck!

First of all, it is a good thing that you recognize that puking is not the way to get skinny. I understand how you feel about wanting to be skinnier, I felt the same way when I was your age. The important thing to do is to make sure you eat healthy and exercise the right way.
I'll start with what you eat. It's best to eat the recommended amount from each food group and eat not as healthy foods in moderation.
As for exercising, you have to realize that you can't overwork yourself. On days that you have cheerleading and softball practice, you should avoid trying to exercise more. On other days, you could work out a balanced exercise plan for about 30 minutes- an hour. It will help you become organized when you exercise and prevent over working certain parts of your body. But don't overwork yourself. If you are tired and sore, you have to take a break for a few days.
Lastly, you have to remember that you are still growing and your body is still changing. You aren't going to notice results immediately because it is an ongoing process. I hope this helped and good luck with everything :)
