Question Posted Thursday December 8 2011, 11:08 pm

My boyfriend and I have been going out for about a year and a half now and all of a sudden he's been asking me to send him naked pictures of myself. I hate my body and I'm extremely insecure, so I just don't feel comfortable doing it. So I told him that but he just gets mad and keeps asking, and now he's starting to use it against me. Should I send him the pictures to just shut him up? Or what?

DON'T DO IT. It matters not how you feel about your body. Sending nude photo's of any under age person, that would include yourself, is unlawful. It is considered CHILD PORNAGRAPHY AND YOU CAN BE CHARGED WITH DISTRIBUTION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY. YOUR BOYFRIEND COULD BE CHARGED WITH RECEIVING AND BEING IN POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNAGRAPHY.

This charge can be both a Federal and State charge. Take me very seriously in what I have said for law enforcement is cracking down on this type of distribution for a variety of reasons.

Another reason not to do this is once you send the photo; you lose all control of the photo. Your present boyfriend can now or in the future resend that picture to whomever and they in turn can redistribute your photo until it goes viral.

Just tell him no. IF he won't take no for an answer he does not have the proper respect for you and you should seriously consider finding another boyfriend.

Sure he will promise you now that the picture is between you and him. That he would never show or share this picture with anyone else. What happens when and if you two break up. Digital pictures do not have negatives. You can never be sure he destroyed your picture(s). Just don't do it.

Your body belongs to you exclusively and not your boyfriend or anyone else. So what you need to do is give him a choice: he can either stop badgering you for the pics and keep you or he can keep hassling you about it and see you walk. And if you make a threat like that you had better be willing to follow through on it because if you don't he will think you're a total doormat.

Just remember that there is a general rule of thumb: any saucy pics of girls will end up on the net at some point through any number of channels.

Do you realize that sending nude photos by phone, computer or anything of matter while under age is illegal? They just passed a law in my state recently that anyone underage sending pictures can be charged with pornography! It's even traceable if deleted too. The saying is true "never send or say anything you do not want seen or repeated"

Even the person you think you can trust the most are not even worth the risk, If you show your body you can bet anything that the picture will be seen by someone else.

Do not do it, Stop letting you boyfriend try and pressure you and talk you into doing something stupid like that. Real boyfriends don't pressure someone into doing something and most of all they respect you! Apparently this guy doesn't respect you and just wants to try and get one thing out of you so you can give yourself an ultimatum you can be a doormat and a possible booty call or you can walk and hold your head high with self respect.

NO!! Never send naked pictures to anyone for any reason. The pictures don't stop when they get to that person- they are out there forever and you have no way of knowing who might end up with them. If you are under 18 it is against the law anyway. Do yourself a favor keep your self respect and know that you are worth more than what this guy is trying to pressure you into doing. He doesn't deserve to see you in that way and quite honestly I would reevaluate the relationship and consider leaving him altogether. You need someone who respects you enough to never even ask such a question. Regardless of how you view your body it is special and belongs to you. THere's plenty of girls out there willing to show it all- they can't possibly feel too good about themselves. And it you do this how will you feel always wondering who the pictures might get back to? DO NOT DO IT!!!
