Back in the day they used to use Dippity Doo, which was a kind of hair gel.

Do not use Vaseline, which may clog up your bathtub or sink drain when you wash it out. And washing it out will be a bastard.

Brylcreem would probably work if applied right.

Just dont wash your hair for a few days;) haha just kidding. I would go with styling gel, chicken fat would gross me out.

Use Vaseline or baby oil. Either one will make your hair really greasy!

Lightly wet your hair down and use any kind of styling gel. I think mousse and hairspray may work as well but you have to make sure your hair is slightly damp before putting it in. I hope this helps and good luck.
