Is 10 years old too young for a boyfriend?
I'm ten, female, and I kinda want a boyfriend. I don't know if I should do it, or how to do it. And if I do it how do I yell my parents?

Well, its COMPLETELY okay to hang out and hold hands. But its not like you're gonna have sex or anthing. It's kinda innapropriate for your age. Just hang out, see if you got anythingn common.

I think it depends on what type of school you are going to and if your hormones have kicked in yet.
If you go to a school where half of the people in your year have a boyfriend, then I think you are not too young. I had a writer who wrote to me that she just turned nine and her boyfriend was eight, so trust me, you are no where near young.
If you have your period already, then I think it is normal for you wanting a boyfriend. If your hormones have kicked in it means that you body will act in this way allot, so you should get used to it.
I think that the best way to tell your parents is to first talk to them about how they felt when they first fell in love and how old they where. Then you should talk to your mom alone and tell her you think you like some one. Then she will go easier on you when you tell her you have a boyfriend. Telling your dad is completely different tough, your mom will probably talk to him and they will agree on boyfriend rules. And what is aloud and not. But depending on your parents character, sometimes the dad agrees to having a boyfriend and the mom disagrees, you will have to find out.

I personally think your too young, your moment would come and I'm sure your parents wouldn't agree with you. I understand you could have a crush on someone at your school or somewhere else but a boyfriend at that age is not the way foward. Think about it!

I would wait. Don't rush it. It's all about maturity rather than age. Right now you don't know whether you should, how to go about it etc. which signals you aren't ready yet.
Right now your hormones are kicking in and you're starting to just notice boys. If I were you I would become friends with boys you like first and when older look at relationships. Right now you're still pretty young to attempt handling one.
Also, your parents need to know and should know and will undoubtedly know especially if you're spending a lot of time with someone.
