I just started having my period and I want to tell my mom so that she knows. I am having trouble finding the right words to say that won't embarrass me or make her confused. We don't really talk about periods or anything so I don't want to make the entire thing uncomfortable. From your own personal experience, how did you tell your mom that you had started your period? Well, I guess it doesn't have to be actually your mom, but whoever you told--how did you say you started having periods?

Boy, was I wrong. Haha, but yea. I just ran up to her and told her I had blood in my underwear and I think I started my menstrual cycle. She understood completely. You shouldn't be embarrassed about telling your mother. She goes through the same thing.
Hope this helped ;) [ blackbutler666's advice column | Ask blackbutler666 A Question ]
