This is my freshman year at my high school, how can i make more friends? i have a few close friends then about 20 other friends how can i make more?

Friends are easy to make, just be yourself, and find ppl that like you for you, and who have a similar personality to yours. a great way to make friends, is get involved in school activities, and sports, you can get to know new ppl fast. Good Luck!!! :)

Make sure you are outgoing. i was a freshman last year and i regret not being more outgoing. But now that it's summer i have decided to let go of caring what people think and just make new friends talk to random people. And this Worked i have made so many new friends just from going up to people and talking to them. It's as easy as going up to someone and saying "i like your shoes, where did u get them?" Just make small talk and then something in common with you two will pop up

This is a great time to banch out.
Join some clubs at school and be active in them. Working on projects with people is the best way to get to know them. Volunteer.
Run for student government - even if you loose, everyone will have learned you name.
Make a point of rememberiing people's names and using them. People love to hear their own names.
Listen to others twice as much as you talk. Draw them out, ask them opinions, ask open ended questions as opposed to Yes No questions.
DOn't ask "Did you go away thhis summer??" Do ask, "What did you do this summer?"
