When I first started my diet I was eating right and exercising. I lost 25 pounds. Now I'm getting tired of doing the same thing everyday and I dont know what else to do. I did cardio 2 times a day, I ran, etc. Sometimes I just dont do it anymore. I get a craving for chocolate chips and thats it. People in my house buy it and when I see it I want it, when I first started my diet I was eating on junk and only having 1200 calories, now I eat a little over 1200. And I only lost a pound last week and I was losing more than that before. I dont eat chocolate all day. I'll just get a bar of chocolate and a small bag of chips and eat one and the rest of the day the food is healthy, I wasnt doing this in the beginning. I already want something sweet everyday and I'm scared i'll gain the weight back after the diet. I cant go to the gym. I get tired of doing the same exercise and eating the same, what can I do?

go somewhere and run.. when i get bored i go places take my bike somewhere.. you need to keep changing it up. but its all about control!
and congrats on losing 25 pounds! [ waiting25's advice column | Ask waiting25 A Question ]

If you just want to lose weight, it only comes down to burning more calories than you consume - and it doesn't matter where the calories are coming from or what activities you do to burn them off. Now, if you're looking into being healthy, not just shedding pounds, then find a diet that includes all the food groups that also satisfies the taste buds - and by the way, if you like dark chocolate, its actually healthy for your heart, so go for it. As far as exercise goes, try doing outdoor activities. Its what keeps my attention and motivation - walking/jogging/running/riding bike in different locations, seeing different things, etc. Going to the park, playing sports. Its more captivating to most people to do things outside, rather than at the gym or at home where it starts to feel like a tiring chore in the routine. I've found eating sweet fruits like strawberries and peaches will satisfy your cravings. Granola bars can be healthy, but also tasty. Especially the chocolate-flavored ones.
You might have a vitamin deficiency because you crave sweets. If you don't already, take a multivitamin. After a while taking them, you should stop craving sweets.
As for being bored with your exercises, you can switch things up a bit. Try running for longer and longer distances instead of the same distance over and over again. Switch up your cardio exercises. Tennis is a great sport, enjoyable, and a good cardio workout. You can ride a bike, go for a jog, swim, even jump rope to get your cardio fix.
You don't have to eat exactly the same thing every day. I don't know what your diet consists of now, but it can't hurt to buy a healthy eating cookbook. [ maxgrey's advice column | Ask maxgrey A Question ]
maxwellarch answered Tuesday July 13 2010, 12:21 pm: Diets are complicated. take it from me, ive been on a diet for a while now. your body loses weight in cycles, youll lose 15 pounds 1 month and then maybe youll only lose 5 the next. but whats happening during the time when your not losing as much weight is your body mass is shifting around reditributing the fat in your body to make you look thinner. so dont be discouraged if you dont lose as much as youd like one week. that's why diets and excersize are so hard, just be patient. And as far as your question as to what you can do. try eating new things that are low calorie. you dont want to eat the same thing everyday. if you do your body grows to expect it and will start storing fat even if you only eat 1000 calories. so mix it up, eat maybe high protein one day the mostly carbs the next switch it up. keep your body guessing.
