ThEDaRkEsTSiDe answered Friday May 21 2010, 10:20 pm: Definitely not. In this life, we have to be silly from time to time otherwise we'd go crazy. People who are too serious generally have a rougher time getting through their day because we were MADE to feel laughter, happiness and joy. Goofing around always creates those three things. HOWEVER, there is an exception to being silly like places such as work, or during school. I've found an awesome quote that I think will help you greatly. "Take your responsibilities seriously, but never yourself." Basically this means if you have to do something, get it done right. Never be too hard on yourself doing the responsibility though. If you make a mistake, just laugh about it rather than beating yourself up over it :) Overall being silly, with good measure, will make you have a much more enjoyable life. :) Dave [ ThEDaRkEsTSiDe's advice column | Ask ThEDaRkEsTSiDe A Question ]
It doesn't have to be a bad thing. It all depends on how s/he says it. It could mean that you make them laugh, but also depending on your age it could mean that you are kind of immature. It depends on how you act and what their definition of the word is.
