ConfusedX2 answered Tuesday April 27 2010, 5:29 pm: This sounds like a urinary tract infection. You can by a test over the counter to see if you have one. Eat cranberries/cranberry juice and buy cranberry supplements. On the label of the bottle it should say something about UTI's [ ConfusedX2's advice column | Ask ConfusedX2 A Question ]

As Annie said, there are a few things it could possibly be. The most like however, is a UTI. A UTI will grow worse without treatment, more painful and more dangerous to your health. They are common, and can be cured easier, but you must go to a doctor. There are no over the counter remedies. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]

For example, if you have had sex recently, you could have UTI. For more information on what the symptoms are visit the following link: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) If you think you might have this I would suggest going to a doctor so they can give you the proper antibiotics to help.
But the best advice I can give, is to simply call up your doctor/nurse, explain your symptoms and ask if it is necessary to schedule an appointment. It'll be the best you can do for yourself to get better. The longer you wait, the more you risk getting worse.
