The best diet, is to just eat and follow the Daily Value guide, found at mypyramidtracker.gov. A car that drives 5 miles per gallon, will drive you five miles, regardless if you have 1 gallon of gas, or twenty. Don't overeat the amount of vitamins/nutrients/etc. [ khaos4ng31's advice column | Ask khaos4ng31 A Question ]

steph2k10 answered Sunday February 14 2010, 11:15 am: if you drink soda, cut that out completely. Its nothing but sugar and has NO health benefits so its only hurting you. that can help you lose a few pounds right there.
there are alot of crash diets out there that tell you to eat one food for breakfast lunch and dinner everyday for 3 weeks, but a crash diet like this is extremly unhealthy and once you start eating normal food again, you will gain all the weight back PLUS a few pounds more.
the only sure fire way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat more fruits and veggies, cut out the junk food, and excersise at least a little bit. It can be doing crunches in your bedroom, or jumping jacks, or running around your house.
if you just eat healthy and dont excersise, the weight will come off but slowly. The more excersise you add to your healthy eating, the faster the weight will come off.

Make sure you do this at your own pace though.
