Question Posted Thursday October 15 2009, 12:36 am
I'm 17/m
All of a sudden, I realized that I had feelings for my really good friend (17/f). I'm pretty sure she likes me too, there's a lot of touching and ass grabbing and stuff like that. However, I don't know if
a) I SHOULD make a move and
b) if I should, then how
She goes to my school and normally I make it a policy not to date or hook up with girls from my school but I can't seem to get her out of my head.

But, I have been married for 20 years now and before we married we dated a lot but only as friends and it escelated from there I think that dating your marring your best friend is a good thing. I will last longer and be more meaningful. [ dpsbar3's advice column | Ask dpsbar3 A Question ]

orphans answered Friday October 16 2009, 11:28 pm: heres what you do. im 16 and also a male.
i had the same thing, well kinda.
you test her first. lets say you guys flirt, but you just flirt harder. maybe even ALOT harder. You see how she reacts to it. If she thinks its awkward, like she thinks you guys are just playing...then shes probably not interested in going any further.
but. if you go in wayy further and flirt alot more, and if she likes it and doesnt push you off, theres your answer. she wants you.....

May sound a little but crazy, but how else will you know? Plus it will mean quite a bit if YOU ask her instead of getting someone else to, you know? It shows that you care and you have the courage to ask her, not many people do. And the good thing about you two being good friends is that, if you happen to be wrong, which I doubt, you both can just laugh it off and forget about it, because that is what good friends do! They are real with each other.
