I passed the road test once because the 6 practice hours helped me. I got those hours when I was like 18. I didn't need them then. I think only if you're 16 you need those 6 hours, but I got them anyway to help. Maybe you just need some more practice and time. Don't sweat it. I finally have my license and am 19. The people at the DMV do not ask questions. A lot of people have their own personal reasons for getting whatever, however old they are. One of my friends doesn't have even have her permit yet because she lives in the city and doesn't need one. No biggie. Just try to pass asap if it makes you uncomfortable. It's not abnormal though. Don't feel alienated! [ hotpotato's advice column | Ask hotpotato A Question ]

You will find that no one passes the first or second test o.k. imagine your ego if you did pass first time. I suggest you have more lessons get the skills required to pass the test you'll have your liecence soon enough. Keep trying you'll get there. [ Daintree's advice column | Ask Daintree A Question ]

You're not stupid. I'm sure you're just stressed out and worried so much that you're doing bad on the test because you're telling yourself that you will. Have you tried taking the online tests that the DMV's website has? Try that. Those tend to help because I know reading the book is horribly boring.
