Question Posted Tuesday September 22 2009, 10:44 pm
My P.E. class is swimming for the next 5 weeks or so, and I'm not doing so hot. The past couple of times I'm fine on the first few laps, but on the last few, I honestly can barely make it across the pool. Today, actually, on the last lap, I just didn't have the strength to keep going and I had to start doggy-paddling, etc. to make sure I got to the other end. I thought I was going to drown.
So my question... does anyone have any tips for me? I would love to just not dress out and all that jazz, but my mom doesn't really want me to get an F, and neither do I. (and my teacher is kinda weird - it's a male teacher, too) Is there any way I can make it easier? Or does anyone know a good excuse to get out of it? (I'm a girl, and yes, I know about faking my period to get out of it - but no one has a period for 5 weeks!)

I don't have a swimming part of gym in my school, enever have.
But from experiences in summer with flippers, they do help you swim and make you swim a whole lot faster.
