more movies like The Notebook So obviously The Notebook is one of the greatest movies ever made (and book). I've seen it enough times to know every line and I it never fails to make me cry just a little.
Any other amazingly good romances like this one? I don't really like old movies though.

I would recommend Big Fish, if you're into Tim Burton movies. It's a story about a son trying to learn more about his dying father by reliving stories and myths his father told him about himself.
It's very sad, yet it's also funny, and it has lots of meaning.
There's a small love story entwined in the plot, too. That part is sad as well, if I remember correct.
It's a very, very good movie, though, and I highly recommend it.
EDIT: I also recommend Paris, je t'aime. More info here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
It's basically a compilation of love stories told in different perspectives by 18 different famous directors from around the world.
It's funny, sad, and adventurous, and I highly recommend it. ]
