Could sperm go through clothes if he had an orgasm?

Question Posted Friday July 10 2009, 5:22 am

So, my bf and I were lying on the bed side by side facing each other and we were hugging etc. with our clothes on and he had an orgasm and I don't know if he had ejaculated. If he had so, could sperm go through clothes? He had boxers and a pair of jeans and I had underwear and shorts.

Then I went to the bathroom and I found that my underwear was wet with discharge. Could it be sperm or just discharge as I was sexually aroused?

Most males ejaculate at the exact time they have an orgasm. So chances are your boyfriend did ejaculate.

It is highly unlikey that any sperm would make it through that many layers, so you're safe! Keep in mind if he touched his semen then touched you without washing his hands, you're not so safe.

Your panties could simply have been the wetness of being sexually aroused; this is completely normal.

Wow, he orgasmed just from laying next to you and hugging?! :P
Well if you felt any sort of excitment or sexual arousal during this then yes, that's definately just you. It's normal, sometimes even when you aren't sexually aroused or anything, to experience some vaginal discharge.
And I very highly doubt any ejaculation from him would have gone through all of that anyways. Boxers, jeans, underwear, and shorts. Yep, I'm quite positive. :)

Hope that helps

When you say your underwear was wet, were your shorts too? Because if you were sexually aroused, odds are the wetness in your underwear was you. I'm guessing you would have noticed a big wet splotch on your shorts, right? The odds of his semen soaking through his underwear, jeans, your shorts and managed to get your underwear wet is... well, I don't know of any male that can create that much semen.

If it were somehow possible to generate that much semen, for that tiny amount of sperm that would finally arrive at your labia (because most would be held back from all those clothes), it would then have to travel up your vagina (after getting past the pubic hair) and into your uterus and get to the right fallopian tube.

When you have intercourse, the semen is delivered right near your cervix and there's plenty of it. So compare the two and note the differences.

And when men orgasm, that typically means they ejaculated. They mostly go hand in hand.

My breasts hurt before my period too. I once thought I was pregnant because of sore breasts and a late period when I was 19. I'd had sex and was on the pill. Turns out it was just stress.

Again, if you wind up a week late, make a doctor's appointment. If you're sexually active, you can ask for a physical. See about getting the pill and discuss your concerns about having a regular period. I still highly doubt you're pregnant, though. Hang in there.

It could've been that you were wet from arousal. His sperm would not make it into your clothing if you both had clothes on.

Your period is possibly approaching. I know my breasts always get kinda tender when mine is approaching, so it just may be. I wouldn't worry about your period. Stress is going to delay it. It will come, so just stop worrying.

No you cannot get pregnant unless the penis has contact with the vagina. If you two had clothes on then you should be fine. Sperm cannot go through clothing. If your underwear was wet more than likely you had either a discharge, or an orgasmn. If you are worried, Maybe it is time to take a test but remember you can only get pregnant by having sex.

Well, studies show that sperm traveling through clothes is highly unlikely. It is possible, but unlikely. The discharge most likely came from you because you were (i am assuming) turned on.
I don't think that your period missing has anything to with what you and your boyfriend did, thus far. As we grow up our bodies change, and so could our cycle. Maybe you are stressing out about certain things. Try to take it easy. Consult your doctor if you think that it is serious.
I will tell you, that the thinner material you are wearing the higher the risk of pregnancy. Sperm can live outside of the body for several hours, but it can't live for more than a day. It also can't live very long in climates that are not body temperature. If both of you had on clothes, meaning underwear and pants. Then the possibility of pregnancy is slim to none.
There are so many ways you can get pregnant easily, dry humping with clothes on (if that is what you mean by "etc")is not one of them.
Hope that this helps!!!! GOD Bless!!
