Okay well im a young kid, so i really dont like my green vegtables. my mom says i will like them when im older, but i just dont know! i dont even like seafood. is there something wrong with me?! please hellpp!
Cux answered Saturday June 13 2009, 12:43 pm: There's nothing wrong with not liking certain foods. Most kids hate seafood and vegetables at a young age.
Personally, I still hate green beans and most vegetables. I like corn, peas, carrots, cucumbers, pickles [if they're vegetables?], and olives. That's really it.
Seafood is disgusting, in my opinion. There are a lot of people who don't like it, so there's nothing wrong with you. I'll never like seafood. It smells and tastes nasty. Even fish-sticks are gross.

as you get older your pallet will develop. You will discover you like some things and not others. things will become more clear as you grow up. theres nothing wrong with you dont worry aha [ xemmiex3's advice column | Ask xemmiex3 A Question ]

You just have certain preferences. I like to dip broccoli and carrot sticks in low fat ranch, or I put all natural peanut butter on a celery stick. Very rarely will I eat vegetables alone, without a 'counterpart'. Just try things out, and eat what you like. [ Sima's advice column | Ask Sima A Question ]

It's just preference. Your taste buds change like every seven years though so maybe you'll outgrow that & like some of those things when you're older. But for now I wouldn't worry because it's completely normal. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
ThirdQED answered Friday June 12 2009, 1:38 pm: Nah, it's totally normal. I did not like vegetables and sea food when I was younger, too. Many kids don't like vegetables.
And whether you would like them after you have grown up is difficult to tell. I am now sixteen years old; I still don't like them, but I don't hate them either. So I just eat them because, as you may have already known, vegetables are good for your body.
Personally I don't see any problem with "not eating vegetables," providing that you get the necessary vitamins from other alternate sources, staying out of soft drinks (such as coke, pepsi, etc.), drink a lot of water, and exercise at least twenty minutes a week.
