Braces: when you get them tightend is it pressure or hirts.

Does it feel pressure on ur teeth or does it hurt wen u get braces tighttend.

well the first time it does but you get use to it and he have a hard time eating for awhile.

Yup, mine usually hurt for 2-5 days. Ibuprofen made it all better :)

Yeah, it's just pressure. It doesn't really hurt, it just feels tight. Like if you just push down on your teeth with your hand..that's what it feels like, because that's all it is..your teeth moving. And it doesn't last long at all.

yeah you feel pressure and i wouldn't really say it hurts but for the few days after you get them tightened they'll probably be sore. nothing a little tylonol can't fix ;)

It doesn't hurt when you get the braces tightened (at least it didn't hurt for me) but you do feel pressure afterwards and that does hurt. (Once again, it hurt for m) I would suggest taking tylenol before you go get your braces tightened and then when you can take more, I would take more tylenol. But I would take some before definitely, it really helped for me.
