SuperDuperJess answered Tuesday August 11 2009, 6:30 am: Nope, NO NEEDLES :D I had braces and it only hurt after you get them on because of your teeth adjusting to them. But that gives you an excuse for eating ice cream for a week after :)
Getting braces is easy and pain free (until a little afterwards)
Good luck :) [ SuperDuperJess's advice column | Ask SuperDuperJess A Question ]
xosodapopx3 answered Tuesday August 11 2009, 12:49 am: I have gotten needles in my mouth before, but most definately none for braces!!!!!! If you have really sensitive teeth though, tell them, they have to air dry your teeth before applying the dab of glue and the actual braces. My teeth are incredibly sore to cold air and warm things, I told my orthodontist and he made sure to take frequent breaks. If anything else feels uncomfortable, dont be shy to ask for a quick break!

itdependsonyoux3 answered Monday August 10 2009, 11:39 pm: Nope, no needles. trust me if there were needles, I would have had a MAJOR problem with that hahaa. wow, i had braces so long ago, and they never bothered me, it didnt even hurt getting them put on .. HOWEVER, your mouth starts to get tired after a while because it has to be opened at all times. so annoying. hahaa. but you'll be fine, don't worry about it :] it's a piece of cake.
good luck and have fun ! hope i helped, xxo. [ itdependsonyoux3's advice column | Ask itdependsonyoux3 A Question ]
cuddlemonster answered Monday August 10 2009, 11:37 pm: No, there's no reason to. All they're doing is glueing a piece of metal to your teeth. It doesn't hurt at all. The only thing that might bother you is when the metal starts rubbing on your lip, but they give you wax for that. [ cuddlemonster's advice column | Ask cuddlemonster A Question ]
