Darby answered Saturday May 9 2009, 9:02 pm: Yes, of course. There are a lot of people that are outgoing and funny, but aren't great looking. They still get a lot of dates and have a lot of relationships. Being good-looking is a plus, but if there's no personality to back it up, it's fairly pointless.
duzzie19 answered Saturday May 9 2009, 8:41 pm: Absolutely. If someone has a great personality or vibe, or maybe they dress very well or exude a lot of confidence, that can overshadow their surface appearance and make them seem attractive. The two words are not synonymous. Also, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; one person's "attractive" could be another's "hideous"; thus, that person is probably not universally considered to be "good-looking."
