Limewire
Hi!
I was wondering if it costs money to download limewire? If limewire was legal, and if it does cost money, is it worth it? Thanks a ton!

It only costs money if you choose to download the plus version (or whatever the upgraded version is called). As long as your download the basic program, you will be just fine and totally free. The program itself isn't illegal, it's downloading copywrited music that is illegal. However, to answer your question my friend, no, limewire (the basic version, which works perfectly) doesn't cost money to download.

Its not illegal to have the program but it is illegal to download music and movies from it, use it wisely. by the way just download limewire pro off of lime wire thats what i did when i had it. but i buy my music now

Limewire always gave me a BUNCH of viruses.
I don't know about others, but it crashed my computer multiple times.
You can use www.jamglue.com and it works just as well.
You need to make an account for jamglue, but it works really well, usually has all the music you want, and is completely free.

its free unless you get limewire pro. its not worth to pay money. just get the normal one. it does the job. and it isn't legal though.
