I need to lose 40+ pounds by the middle of may. I know some of you will say its not healthy but I need to I have already been taking tha acia berry pills what else can I do to make this goal happen?

Here's what you do:
1.This is phase one...For 2 weeks eat meat , vegetables, and salad.
No, starches,No pasta, No potatoes, no rice, no bread, no sugar
2. The first 2 days will be hard. grit your teeth and get through it. You can do it. The 5th day the weight will start to come off and once it starts you will drop it fast
3. You can have as much salad, meat, cheese, milk, eggs, vegatables (But not corn)as you want.
You can have some almonds. Drink diet drinks and alot of water
4. for example Breakfast,,,4 egg cheese omlet with onions...lunch Tuna salad with cellerysticks, snack...beef jerky, supper...a great big steak with dinner salad or cooked vegatbles.
5. You may think this is unhealthy. A friend of mine lost 35lbs. this way. His colesterol and blood presure both went way down. It has to do with food combining also. The doctor said, "I don't know what you're doing but keep on doing it".

6. keep going in phase one stage as long as you can. The longer you can stay in phase one the faster you will lose the weight
7. If you mess up and eat carbs don't worry about it and freak out just keep going with the diet
8. Phase 2...this gets a little tricky. You can add in what they call "good carbs" (a little brown rice maybe) but you must weigh yourself and if you stop losing weight you are adding to many to fast. If this happens return to stage one and continue
SPECIAL NOTE: To keep the weight off you will only be able to eat a few carbs. You will never be able to go back to unlimited sugar and carbs and keep the weight off. That's why it's called a "Lifestyle"

There are several things you could do to lose weight. You could cut out all caffeinated drinks and most of your sugar intake (you need some sugar to live). You should always have a filling breakfast. Health experts recommend eating 6 meals a day (3 main and 3 healthy snacks). Getting plenty of rest helps too. Exercise is key in losing weight. I would recommend starting out a 15 minutes 3 times a week and working your way up. Lunges and squats help tone thighs and butts. Weight lifting(even if it is 5 lbs.) will help tone arms. Get in a good cardio workout (running, cycling, or punching bag). It's always good to make your workout spontaneous because if your body gets use to doing the same workouts it will stop responding. Cut out the caffine, (Soda, Coffee, Juice etc)
Make sure you get a healthy amount of sleep, Lack of sleep can cause fatigue.
If you are hungry after dinner then eat 1 bowl cereal with low fat milk and nothing eles.
Watch the portion sizes, Don't over do it try to eat 1 meal portions and avoid going for seconds.
Neener answered Tuesday March 10 2009, 3:56 pm: Well, detoxing is an option, if you`re careful not to over-do it. There are meals plans out there for people that are required to lose weight for things like heart surgery. They do work, but you have to make sure that you are still getting what you need, especially if you're younger, and more active. The more working out you do, the more your body needs, and sticking to a set amount of food from start to finish won't get you the results you want.
But I just HAVE to ask, what could possibly be so important in May that you need to drop 40 pounds for???
And you're right, it's not healthy. I hope you understand that dropping that much weight with get-thin-quick tactics aren't everything they're cracked up to be. Ever see a really really sick person that dropped weight rapidly? That's about it. They're pale, sickly, and their skin tends to hand off of them. It's not attractive.

Some things you can do to loose wait fast is Don’t eat after 8:00 pm, Always eat a healthy well portioned breakfast, And find a good exercise video And do it every day I know my mom does the walking video they do lots of things that burn off stomach fat and stuff.
