hospital - one week

Question Posted Thursday February 26 2009, 3:38 pm

what is something that you would stay in a hospital for one week, without it being TOO serious. to be quiet honest my friend allie wants to fake an injury to even see if this boy cares about her, its cruel but she has the right intentions. and she wants to have ppl tell him that shes in the hospital (he doesnt live close so she wont even really be in a hospital) and i was wondering if you do answer this question, to give me good details. like something a car accident? what would have happend, what injuries. or a sickness? what sickness and how serious. you know what i mean? PLEASE HELP! ASAP.

There is no injury yu can fake that will keep you in there for a week. the doctors run tests and they will know if shes faking. even people who are SEVERELY ill dont get to stay in the hospital for a weak they get turned away with a perscription and thats it.

Mononucleosis- AKA: Mono
conjunctivitis- AKA: Pinkeye

But to be honest their are other ways to see if he cares about you. Going to a hospital for an injury or illness you made possible is bad, because their could be a patient that could use the be you're in or need the doctor more than you. I don't suggest you waste any medical professionals time seeing as that would be immoral and wrong.

--I hope you think about what I said, seeing as it is the truth. Your friend had a very immoral and stupid idea...

This is the worst way to do it. And it won't prove a lot. If she makes up some ridiculous lie, of course he's going to sound concerned - anyone with a heart would.
If he ever found out, don't expect him to care for her in the future. I know if someone did something like that to me, I would hate it. Especially not living close because I would feel helpless. I'd also lose my trust for that person.
As far as the question itself, a week is very drastic. Hospitals tend to only keep you in that long if it's something serious. So if she lies, she can easily mess up. Keep that in mind.
You shouldn't come to this site for advice on lying like that.
If she still wants to do it, come up with the illness or injuries yourselves.
That is what google is for. Research some things.

you could say that she got the flu, like really bad. since the flu is going around its believable. or you could say she got her appendix out or something. or she got in a car accident and the doctors want to make sure shes out of shock so they want her to stay for a week for observation...
i hope i helped :]
