First Loves SUCK!!
I'm 16 years old , Female . Well I fell in love at the age of 14 [ don't care if anyone thinks it's too young ] . Me and my first love Dated for a year and 3 months . We broke up summer of O8' June 1st , and best believe it was the hardest thing I thinkk i've had to go through . Well In November I started dating this guy named Jason , treats me better than any guy ever has ... Well I do love him and believe I am in love with him. Problem though , It's so hard getting over Justin [ first love ] & it sucks because i'm the first girl Jason [ current bf ] has ever been " in " love with . Y'all it's almost been a year since the break up with Justin & I really need to get over him but I know it takes time ... But I feel horrible bc I can't give my whole heart to Jason when I still feel as if Justin has some of it but I have all of Jason's heart ... It would'nt be that hard if Justin did'nt go to the same school abd I see him everyday . But Jason said he'd wait because i'm worth it but honestly no guy wants to stick around when ur stuck on someone else .. Help me get over Justin , I need to give my all , 100% to Jason , he's the greatest boyfriend i've had .

Think of it this way. You know the biotch that ran into you in the hall way and didn't say excuse me but instead said excuse YOU like it's your fault and for some odd reason the first thing that comes out of your mouth is "sorry" or "excuse me" even though it was clearly her fault, your taking the rap. But then after you think about it your like "ugh that girl is such a biotch!"
She didn't take you into consideration. She doesn't careee about your feelings. She's not thinking about you.
Neither is Justin. He's that biotch in the hall way that isn't thinking about how your feeling.
Now, ask your self. Why would you care for someone who doesn't care about you? You didn't when it came to the biotch in the hall way. So, every time you see him at school, call him a biotch in your head. That will (hoefully!) not only make you laugh, but make him look less appealing :) No girl wants to date a biotch.

I know you feel like you could never let go of your first love-because,a first love is the first strong connection you've ever had with someone. But you've got to remember the reasons why you guys broke up-why you and justin will only ever be friends. If you and justin left some words unsaid-that might be the reasons you're getting these feelings. You're remembering the old times in the relationship. Its changed now though, and you have Jason to make new and better memories! :D Don't think about missing an old love,its dead and gone;replaced with a fresh new love thats true. No one can ever forget there first love,i mean, no one forgets there first expierience of anything for that matter. Its not that you're trying to get over Justin so much the person-but the fact he was your first love. Its easy;;just think that Jason is the first great guy who loves you with everything he has,and you feel the same way :D! I know it takes time-its happend to me as well. But you can get through with this! Everytime you think of Justin,switch your thoughts to Jason.:]

Move on and love the one you're with. It's a reason he is by your side and Justin isn't. Whatever happened between you and Justin is in your past and so is he SO act like it. Keep him in your past and now focus on your future-Jason...and believe me Jason won't wait forever so don't mess up a great opportunity to be with a great guy.

I agree with Sjack.. When you love someone truly, you will always have the memories, will always have certain things stuck in your head, in general, sometimes these things don't go away. Only advice I can honestly give you is focus on your man... You definitely know that over a period of time, feelings get stronger, bonds become stronger, and hopefully the things about Jason will overcome the things about Justin. You say that you really were in Love... If so.. then you will never be able to give 100% of your heart to another man. You will always have your 1st love in your heart forever. You need to know that and move on by dating someone new. You will relize that it wasn't ever going to work between you and the first guy. Take it slow Good Luck!
