As of late, my parents, friends and counselors at school have been talking A LOT about colleges and it's starting to freak me out.
I'm a 16 year old junior in high school, so it's REALLY time I start picking out where I want to go. I'm pretty much set on what I want to do as far as a career goes, but I don't know which college I want to go to, which is pretty bad seeing as that will determine my career path?!
So, like I said: I don't know where to start! I know I want to stay in state or go to a neighboring state, but how should I go about researching, choosing, and whatnot?

also, www.collegeboard.com is amazing. you can search any college out there and it tells you everything: cost, admission requirements, majors, describes housing & campus life, student life, test scores, etc. it definitely helped me narrow down where i want to go. it has tons of info that im sure can help you too. good luck! =] [ bitterxsweet's advice column | Ask bitterxsweet A Question ]

The counselors at my school have nifty little search engines that you can put in the major you're thinking of pursing, the state you want to go to college in, and a few other attributes that you'd like in a college.
