annon answered Thursday January 1 2009, 4:22 pm: im not sure if there is a way to prevent them you should get your self really happy before doin it maybe that will help think positive thoughts the whole time if possible.
even though people are saying stop wasting your life by taking drugs. from what i know of weed... its actually better than smoking tobbaco. its just the government being able to keep a control on the tobbaco industry, the weed industry is alot harder to keep control off and of course theres no money in it for the government. although not smoking it at all would help you more than anything though you asked for other advice not to be critisized your going to do what ever your gonna do so enjoy it dood. i know if i ever get the chance i'd probably try some, but just the once ;P [ annon's advice column | Ask annon A Question ]

That's what's going to happen if you keep getting high, and there really isn't a way to smoke pot and not feel like that. By that I mean for you. Because it is different for everyone, and obviously since that's how it's affecting you, it's going to keep happening like that unless you stop.
lover901 answered Monday December 22 2008, 10:52 pm: you can stop experimenting! This is ammiditly telling you that it isnt for you. i havent tried the thing but i do no that it isnt healthy and soon the anxiety attcks could turn to a bigger problem so try to stop, also maybe it's the fact that your testing so your not exactly used to weed. Although im not suppose to encourage you to smoke it, but if it is your choice, try takking time. [ lover901's advice column | Ask lover901 A Question ]

DJzmAgUy426 answered Sunday December 21 2008, 3:32 pm: Oh, I have those too, like the first 10-15 minutes. Not that time matters much when you're high. It's like you know you're high, you can't believe it, and then you zone out and think you're dreaming, which makes you anxious and just wanna get out. I think weed is just fun after it's worn off, cause then you can share the memories. While you're high, all you're worried about is eating and getting sane again. Maybe you should stop for a while, if you think it's making you feel worse. Weed hightens whatever mood you're already in, so if you're paranoid about getting caught, or having a horrible trip, you're not gonna enjoy it much. Try relaxing before you smoke. Make sure you're not stressed out at all, and do it with laid- back people. There's a big chance the feeling might not go away, no matter how much you try to calm yourself down during or beforehand, as I've asked professional potheads, and even they tell me it's common. I've smoked for nearly a year now, and I still panic. I guess you just get used to it after a while. Luck <3. [ DJzmAgUy426's advice column | Ask DJzmAgUy426 A Question ]
karenR answered Sunday December 21 2008, 1:06 pm: From what I have read, and this is not at
all uncommon, you probably need to seriously
consider not using it any more. Here is a
quote from an article I will link you to.
"Some people may use marijuana with little
negative side-effect. Others, more
dangerously, may trigger an effect that will
impact greatly on their lives."
I want to tell you I believe its use should
be legalized. I don't tell you this in an
attempt to scare you into quitting. But like
alcohol and smoking, it affects everyone
differently and not always for the good. :)
MADISAN answered Sunday December 21 2008, 10:52 am: You're probably paranoid. Don't smoke as much as the people who have a high tolerence to cannabis. Wait untill you feel, what I call, the "head change" when you can feel you're high comming, and quit. Then, if you don't get anxiety, smoke more.
I'd suggest just being in a calm mood before smoking, too. With any kind of drug, stimulant, depressant, etc., you always want to make sure you're sure of what you're doing, or else the effects of your "trip" or "high" can be changed by your outlook. Sometimes it really is mind over matter.
