i really like this guy that is bi-racial. (black and white)
and i don't know if my family would accept it or not but i'm not sure that i care..
is there anything wrong with a white girl dating a bi-racial boy?
jobrolover3725 answered Tuesday September 9 2008, 12:13 am: no there's nothing wrong with that!
you should date someone because you like them, not because they of what race they are.
every human is 99.9% alike genetically and people make too big a deal out of that .1%. race really shouldn't matter.

I don't notice someone's race any more than I would their hair color, or eyes. Obviously it's noticeable [hmm, she's very white! Wow, his hair is wicked dark, etc etc]. Neither should anyone else.
Ultimately it comes down to who YOU want to be with. Your family shouldn't stop you based on a person's skin color.

person43 answered Monday September 8 2008, 9:00 pm: no, there is nothing wrong with that. If you like him, then what does it matter the color of his skin? You already are attracted to him so looks are taken care of. Hopefully your family will see him for who he is and respect the fact that you like eachother and be fine with it.
