5 Subject Notebook

Question Posted Monday August 11 2008, 4:34 pm

Okay so I've already asked a question regarding organization for school. I went to Staple's and I bought 2 5-Subject notebooks and a binder for math.

I was thinking about using 1 of the 5subject notebooks for Chemistry and English, and then the other for History and French, but I'm not sure how to split it up. Any ideas?

yeah, you might run out of paper...
but just split them up 2 sections for each,
and use the other one for whatever one comes across?

How about whichever classes are close together? ;]

If you run out of paper, you can always buy a new notebook. I just think it would probably be easier for you to take one for your first two classes, and switch to another for your last two.

You may want to have a separate notebook for some subjects all-together.

When I took Chemistry I easily filled up my 5-subject during the course of the year. In French I took loads of notes, so also found I needed at least one 5-subject each year. In my junior year AP English class I took tons of notes as well, because in my class if we didn't we were hosed.

Plus wouldn't it be a pain if you ran out of space in one section and had to get a new notebook for that, but still had to carry around the old one? At that point it defeats the purpose of combining subjects.

You might want to ask people who took the classes at your school last year. They should give you good insight as to what you'll need.

I hope this helps.

I think that Chemistry may have more notes than English, but that could change. Try having French have 3 of the subjects and English have 2.

History may have a lot of notes, but I think French will have more. French, therefore should have 3 and History have 2.
