It's possible to grow taller and there are different methods that can be really helpful for doing it.
Firstly, don't go out and buy those "wonder pills" that are offered all over the place, they just don't work. Why not? Well because the only scientific way the body grows is through the release of our natural height increasing hormone, called human growth hormone or HGH for short.
One of the most important things is not only focus on a prime exercise plan, but also on a healthy nutritional eating plan, with the added assistance of taking the right vitamins. Be sure to get plenty of sleep as the most human growth hormone is released during the first 4-5 hours of sleeping, and is greatly enhanced the longer you sleep.

Kids are normally between heights of their mother and father. If your a dwarf, that's about average height. But I think your not. You come froma short family, that's all. There is nothing to do and its genetics, can't fight it. Sorry! Just make it work and ignore the height. Its hard (trust me, I'm short too) but you don't want it to take over your life. LOL_x0x answered Sunday July 13 2008, 4:17 pm: There's nothing you can do to make yourself grow. You just have to let it happen naturally. You're only 14, so you haven't reached your final height yet anyways =]
snickerzz11 answered Saturday July 12 2008, 12:42 pm: Well, if your parents are short too, then there's nothing you can do about it. It's in your genetics, and even something as drastic as growth hormones would probably not help you out, because doctors are mostly only willing to give those to people who are having problems reaching the height they are supposed to reach (based on their parent's heights). The best you can do is make sure you sleep enough (8 hours a night), eat healthily, and exercise- putting your body in a healthy routine will help you reach your full potential height. All the magazines say wearing different types of clothing makes you look taller, so I suppose you could look into that if it really bothered you. Cheer up, though- girls (and boys) don't stop getting taller until their late teens/early twenties, so you may still get taller for the next several years! Hope I helped. C:
Annerszz_101 answered Saturday July 12 2008, 12:33 pm: i agree with the person who first answered this.
wear taller shoes, drink milk, drink water, eat healthy.
if it's really bothering you that much.
try calling or going in to see your doctor.
and see what he can say.
MissMegLoL answered Saturday July 12 2008, 3:08 am: Well I'm thinking that the 1.48cm tall was a typo, or youre the shortest person in the world.
To be honest, there really isn't anything to help you grow taller. You could wear taller shoes to make yourself seem taller than you actually are. Just a suggestion. But keep yourself healthy and if you are supposed to get any taller you will over time. [ MissMegLoL's advice column | Ask MissMegLoL A Question ]
