Moving once again

Question Posted Thursday June 12 2008, 6:57 pm

I have moved once more. It is nothing but a pain though. I have moved quite far from my friends and I feel very lonely, and thanks to the school year ending, I have no friends here. I would walk around my neighborhood but I am afraid that I might get hurt since this is a new town and a new place. What should I do?

PS: My b-day is in like 4 days, I might still be able to hang with some friends then though. Key word: might.

frst of all Happy Bday! I noticed you said you "moved again" Is there a reason you keep moving to different places? My dad is in the military so we do tht alot too. If this is your sitation too then get used to it fast! Its not easy to keep moving. Talk to your parents. Tell you mom and dad that the move is hard and you need to see your friends fast They should understand that~~ If your situation is not because your dad or moms job or whateverr then hopefully this will be your last move and you can make perm bffs
hope i helped

I have moved around a lot, and i have actually learned to like it. You get a fresh new start and leave the old you behind. you can be any one you want to be, and no one would no the difference. a good way to meet people is to get a job.. and if you are not old enough for that, try going to places around your time where kids would be. Try the YMCA [or a local gym] you can also go to the park or something. Just make the most of it, and no matter what- dont sit in your house and wish you were somewhere else. this is going to do nothing but depress you. you have to look on the bright side of things, for all you know- this new town could be a great fit for you!

Good luck :)

make the most of it...moving is a time for a brand new start! Sure school has ended, but that doesn't mean that you can't meet awesome people in your neighborhood, or at the local pool or mall or something. I promise, if you take the time to put yourself out there and meet new people you will be really set for next school year. Your town might have a local group too (like a boys and girls club or something) where you can sign up for activities and meet loads of new people, just check with your local parks department. Its summer so make the most of it by making new friends and meeting new people. Everything will fall into place.
