No. Im not gay.
15/m. ok, this is going to sound really stupid, but people always think im gay. I had this one guy ask me, "ur a puff innit? u like it up the batty?" i was all "wtf!?" he was all, "well you look gay, you talk like a girl".
1. i have a deep voice
2. how could i possibly look gay? i have facial hair..quite a bit of it. so long story short, people think im gay. what could be giving them this idea, and how can i change my appearance/ speech so i dont "sound gay" even though i dont in the first place? cheers

First of all, people suck. :/ They shouldn't say anything like that to you!!!
I am not really sure what you look like though...Do you wear skinny jeans? If so, that could be why people are saying that to you. Do you have a lot of friends who are girls? That could be too. Are you emo? People judge others by their style, race, religion, friends, and everything else!!!
If you said no to everything I said earlier, than he is just a jerk who wants to get on your nerves. People do that to my really close guy friend. His name is Abraham, and they call him Gaybraham. HOW MEAN IS THAT?!?! Just remember to stay true to yourself and ther's nothing wrong about you!!!

Don't change yourself! Is it 'people' or just this one guy? If it's one guy, I'd guess he's just messing with you. You know, trying to get you frustrated? If it's generally people, they're obviously got some weird stereotypes. Most gay guys have like, no facial hair/etc.
There is no definition of what a 'straight' guy looks like. To look more 'manly', you'd probably try to look more rugged. With the facial hair, and stuff.
There's nothing to really define straight, though. I'd just reccomend not to listen to these people, as they're probably just being jerks. (:

I have some guy friends that have this problem too...
I've noticed that they have more friends mainly girls than all of the other guys. So if thats the same with you then its probably because their jealous of you. Another reason could because their insecure of themselves.
A few of my friends have just gotten girlfriends or made out with a hot girl in front of all of them, they also have good comebaks and shoot the other guys down and act like it doesn't bother them and the eventually stop. Joinign sports or other "manly" things may help too.

First off you shouldn't care what lame self conscious boy think.
Then you have to let people know you aren't, maybe get with a girl? I don't know do what you feel is right. Make sure you aren't being style conscious with other guys/girls or following any "gay male" sterotypes. Just stop caring what people say and be yourself and I'm sure no one will question it. A lot of guys just oppress their questioning of thier own sexuality on other guys especially in highschool. Good luck xox Diane

My friend has the same problem. He has learnt to just stand up to these people. If they ask you if your gay. Look straight at them and say "no i'm not gay" in a powerful voice. It will be hard to pass this but it can't continue forever so cheer up and stand up to these people.
