Birth Control Hey,
I'm 18/f and live in ontario,canada
My question is; Do you have to go threw with the whole gynochologist test to get birth control? I'm still a virgin and all and i've never had to go to the gynochologist before. Will i ahve to now?

but you dont need unless your planning on getting the bc [birth control] from your gynochologist just go to a planned parent hood. =] ]
Since you're 18 your doctor should be checking down there anyways. You need tests even though you haven't had sex. But you can get birth control from someone like a dermatologist. That's where I got mine from. No check ups or anything. ]
I was personally on birth control for over a year before I had my first gyno exam. ]
Most of the time you do, but there are some certain situations where you don't, but you should! Really, pap smears are no where near as bad as they sounds, and they really aren't painful. They are a little uncomfortable, but it really isn't that bad. ]
You definately should start getting regular gyno check ups no matter what. You have no idea how many different kinds of nasty things can be going on down there. Don't feel uncomfortable about it, they're doctors, and EVERYBODY (Well, girls.) has to go see them.
To answer your question, it is possible to get birth control pills from like school nurses and stuff, I think, but the way to go is with a gyno. ]
