Hey,
I'm 18/f and live in ontario,canada
My question is; Do you have to go threw with the whole gynochologist test to get birth control? I'm still a virgin and all and i've never had to go to the gynochologist before. Will i ahve to now?

But you can get birth control from someone like a dermatologist. That's where I got mine from. No check ups or anything. [ boxocrackas's advice column | Ask boxocrackas A Question ]

Really, pap smears are no where near as bad as they sounds, and they really aren't painful. They are a little uncomfortable, but it really isn't that bad. You have no idea how many different kinds of nasty things can be going on down there. Don't feel uncomfortable about it, they're doctors, and EVERYBODY (Well, girls.) has to go see them.
To answer your question, it is possible to get birth control pills from like school nurses and stuff, I think, but the way to go is with a gyno. [ JoeA's advice column | Ask JoeA A Question ]
