there are plenty of shy girls out there, mainly because they prolly just dont feel like they have enough confidence yet. which is totally fine; they will overcome it eventually. it takes time.

when a girl is totally quiet around you its your job to make her feel more comfortable and sort of help her let loose a little.

you can try playing that '20 questions' game. just go back and forth with a simple question, about anything at all and hear eachothers answers.

try opening up to her some and let her know that its ok to open up to you as well. when she sees that your a fun and interesting guy, she will start to see that its ok to give in as well.

try to not have any silent moments while you guys are talking, because that might make her tense up some more and it will just be extremely akward for her. and we dont want that.

make her laugh too. that will work.
good luck (:

Getting into a relationship with a friend often changes how the person acts around you. Most people get embarrassed by the label, almost every girl I know gets quieter when she begins dating a boy. Talk to her and tell her that you want to connect and you want to be able to talk to her and be closer to her. Talking to her should help because then she will know how much you care about her and she should release a little. If not then just give her time she should relax after a while.

Hope I Helped.

Ask her questions about herself and her opinions. When you are talking about your life and your friends and problems, ask her what her thoughts on things are.

She probably wont leap out of her shell tommorrow. She might always be a quiet girl. The best thing you can do is let her know that her opinions are important to you AND that she can share them without you judging her for them.

im a girl, and guys don't know that there are a million reasons why we are quiet when a guy is around, some girls tend to tighten up a bit when infront of a guy they like, maybe she's just waiting for you to make her more comfortable. Open topics like, "What's your fave past time?" etc.. or maybe you keep on talking that's why she gets shy to open up. Gain he trust by first starting on the basics like, giving her gifts or helping her around. you'll know if she already trust u if she's not shy to speak her mind..

glad to help and good luck!
