pads I'm 16, soon to be 17 in june, and I don't like tampons. Im scared that I'll get that TSS, and everytime I tried to wear one, it still bleed onto my panties, and i hate the feeling when taking them out. Is it normal or weird to like pads over tampons at my age?

it's totally not wierd! 1/4 of Britians Teens (just the girls) use pads, not tampons, and if you're not comfortable with it, then donr use them! Nobody has to know which you use, and if they do and micky take cos of it then so what, you could micky take them for using tampons! hope this helps hunn :D ]
its normal but i do encourage you to keep trying. use plastic and since you keep bleeding through get a bigger size. it will go in if you need it just try it dont get worried or anything. i didnt believe it when everyone said they are super easy but they are so ya i think you would like it a lot better. most of the time girls say they dont like them cause they havent really given them a chance. and wear a pantiliner on your heavier days if you are worried about bleeding through. i definitely suggest you try some different tampons and find what works best but its ok to use pads too. also they come in handy during the summer when you want to swim haha hope i helped :)

honestly everyone btu one girl i know wears tampons. but that does nto make it weird.. or normal. or bad or good. do what you want. the reason peopel wear them is that it works better for them for different reasons. so its okay that you dont use them. do what you want and feel best using! ]
It is neither normal nor weird. It's just your prefrence. I'm 17 and I prefer tampons myself, but many of my friends prefer pads. The point is, it's all about what you feel most comfortable with. If you're going to be worried about TSS (which, by the way is very rare, so don't worry if you decide to use tampons at some point. Just be aware of the amount of time you have had your tampon in for. This may also solve your bleeding problem...) all day then you might as well save yourself the stress and use pads. There's a reason they offer two options, because it truly is a personal choice. Hope I helped. ]
it's not weird and it's completely normal...I'm 19 and i prefer using pads to tampons and i have alot of friends who prefer pads because of the same reason as you! Don't stress about this, you wear what you feel most comfortable with!!!! ]
Its completely normal, I'm 16 and was only able to use them this year. My sister is 18 and still can't use one. Don't be scared of TSS it is very rare, as long as you don't wear one for 8+ hours you will be fine, and even if you wear it for a little longer than that, chances are nothing will happen. The reason you may be leaking is that you do not put it up far enough, also try different types, I find that the playtex sport are the easiest to get in and they don't leak as easily. (tampons hold less than pads so you will need to change it more often) When I first started using tampons they hurt me as well when I look them out, but after a while it doesn't hurt anymore. Also it WILL hurt if you put a tampon in, then take it out when it is still dry, so wait untill you think it has absored a decent amount.
I hope that made sense and I hope I could help <3 ]
It's not normal OR wierd to perfere one to the other at ANY age.
It is recommended that virgins avoid using tampons, espcailly if they experience as dicomfort... but besides that, your choice in tampons or pads is about as relevant as your preference in icecream flavors. ]
