well i wanna babysite kids cause i like doing that so what age do you think i can babysite at?i already have experience with my neice and nephew

Well to me you would be ready at age 13. I think that is old enough but for some people that is to young. Usually thy hire 15 year olds. Maybe it would help if your teachers made you letters of recomendation saying how responsible you are or something and then maybe they would hire you. Hope I helped . Let me know how it goes. yes you can start babysitting it depends where you live on the rules of you state our whatever but here you can be twelve and get certified thats what i did and i have been babysitting ever since i charge ten bucks an hour hope that help
btw you can find out where to get certified at red cross's website cost forty dollars when i went

I'm pretty sure you can legally babysit at 12. I started babysitting my cousins when I was about 11, but they were older, like second grade at the youngest. It depends on the age of the kids you're watching, but I think 13 is a perfect age.

Depends on the babysitting job but generally I would say 16 as you need to be responsible enough to take care of emergency situations and take charge of the children you're looking after. There are probably cases where you could be younger but if you were babysitting for people you didn't know very well thats probably the age they would want minimum.
