Hey, I was going to audition for my school's talent show [I've made it for the past two years] and, I can't think of a good song to sing. I'm looking for a more maybe rock song, or maybe like, a really soft pretty song. I'm an alto, but I can do soprano pretty well, if that makes a difference. Thanks! :]

Also check out Jennifer Warnes' "Famous Blue Raincoat": it's an album of Leonard Cohen songs she did years ago. It's also available through IsoHunt. I'd personally recommend "Song of Bernadette".

the songs ''silly world'' or ''through glass'' by stone sour.
Sari answered Friday February 22 2008, 4:56 am: You might also try Fiona Apple or the Cranberries. If you can pull off Zombie by the cranberries it's got awesome sound, lots of energy and most people know it. Otherwise, Criminal and Shadowboxer by Fiona Apple are fairly well known and mostly stay in a nice alto range. [ Sari's advice column | Ask Sari A Question ]
