No!, absolutely not, in fact that is what you should do as a freshman. It's important for you from being a freshmen and all the way to your senior year to keep your grades up, its' really important. That's what colleges look at, your'e GPA all throughout high school. Mostly on the 4 most important subjects in school. #1) Being Math 2)English 3)History 4)Science. It is really important to keep your grades up in all of these subjects even beginning as a freshman. This determines what college you'll go to, even your junior and senior year. If you don't have the grade, you may not be able to go to the college you where you want to go. You can start applying to colleges your junior yr. rather than senior yr. because if you wait for senior yr. it could be late for that. Also, since your a freshman, its HIGHLY advicable that you should join extracurricular activities in your school such as: Sports, Band, Clubs (such as BETA, Mu Alpha Theta, Chess?) Any of those, can boost your chances of going to college you want to go to, that and your GPA (3.0-4.0) (Grade Point Average) and SAT and ACT (last tests you have to take Junior your Senior year of high school, they have test preps before you take these tests). These all determine what college you are going to get into. So keep these up, you'll probably get to go to any college you want to. Good luck and hope I helped. ]
perfectly normal cuz college is way better than high skool. ]
