I've always shaved my bikini area and I hate doing it. I was thinking of starting to wax. I just have one question, can I have them wax ALL the hair off so there is none at all, or is there a limit to what they will do?

That said, there is no limit as to how much you can get waxed. You can just do the bikini line, or like the person below said, get a Brazilian. I personally prefer not to- I never have. There is hair down there for a reason, so getting the bikini line waxed, and grooming the rest on your own is perfectly fine. In fact, gynecologists advise against Brazilian waxing, since the hair is there to protect the vagina. I would recommend getting the bikini line waxed and grooming/trimming the rest in whatever way you prefer.
It will hurt a lot to get your bikini line waxed, especially the first time. It's always going to hurt, but once you know what to expect, you can deal. Usually at salons, especially with experienced staff, they'll wax very quickly and efficiently, so it'll be a lot quicker and less painful than if you tried waxing yourself. You can decide how much you want taken off, and let them know your preferences. Also, regardless of where you are getting waxed, make sure they use baby powder, or have some sort of oil to put on afterwards. Good luck! [ ciao77's advice column | Ask ciao77 A Question ]
missbananafontana answered Saturday January 5 2008, 6:20 pm: A Brazilian bikini wax will remove all the hair in the bikini area, compared to a regular bikini wax which will remove the "Bermuda Triangle" area of the top and sides are removed, but there is still hair in the main area, including the labia. I suggest a "half-Brazilian wax" where all the hair except the hair on the labia is removed, because the labia has no muscle, so if you do get it waxed, it's going to hurt like Hell.
