am i in love?

Question Posted Friday December 28 2007, 12:33 am

me and my boyfriend landon really like each other. we have those little fights about whos cuter or who loves each other more. and at school, WE ARE SERIOUSLY ALL OVER EACH OTHER! we tell each other that we love each other. hes all i can think about. and he tells his friends, that he loves me and that all he can think about is me. i really miss him alot, and im going to see him tomorrow. so, does it sound like were in love, or...are we just really close in our relationship?

Someone sent this to me a long time ago and I think it helps a lot. Don't be discouraged by people who say you are too young to be in love.

Are your palms sweaty, is your heart racing and is your voice caught within your chest?
It isn't love, it's like.

You can't keep your eyes or hands off of them.
It isn't love, it's lust.

Are you proud, and eager to show them off?
It isn't love, it's luck.

Do you want them because you know they're there?
It isn't love, it's loneliness.

Are you there because it's what everyone wants?
It isn't love, it's loyalty.

Are you there because he kisses you or holds your hand?
It isn't love, its low confidence.

Do you stay for their confessions of love, because you don't want to hurt them?
It isn't love, it's pity.

Do you belong to them because their sight makes you heart skip a beat?
It isn't love, it's infatuation.

Do you pardon their faults because you care about them?
It isn't love, it's friendship.

Do you tell them everyday that they are the only one you think of?
It isn't love, it's a lie.

Are you willing to give your favorite things to them?
It isn't love, its charity.

Does your heart ache and break when they're sad?
Then it's love.

Do you cry their pain even though your strong?
Than it's love.

Do their eyes see your true heart and touch your soul so deeply it hurts?
Then it's love.

Do you stay because a blinded incomprehensible mix of pain and relation pulls you close and keeps you there?
Than it's love.

Do you accept their faults because they're a part of who they are?
Then it's love.

Would you give them your heart, your life and your death?
Then it's love.

Love is different to every person. Everyone has a different opinion, so it's what YOU make it out to be. If you want to believe you're in love, then do it. Enjoy every second of it.

if you have to ask other people if your in love, than your probably not.
theres a difference with being "in love," and "loving." You guys are probably more loving of each other, but not quite at love yet. sooonnn though maybee =]

There's lots of different types of love. If you feel like you love him, then yeah, you do! Some people might say "you're too young to know what love is", but I don't agree. You can love someone at any age. It might be a different kind of love from what you'll experience when you're older, but that doesn't mean it's not love.

it might jut be infatuation, you know not everything its perfect always .and it also depends how much time have you been toogether? if your talking for like a month or 2 ...maybe its infatuation cause well at list in my opinion being in love is when you know that things arent perfect all the time but still love deeply that person, you know he might do some things you dont like about him but still that make him why you love him. and eventhouguht hes not perfect you love him overall....i think that ..when your like oh hes just so perfect he has no mistakes or thetre are no wrong things about him thats just infatuation but give it time :)

MAK answered Friday December 28 2007, 2:00 am:
I personally think its infatuation. Think of it this way. You know those really cute old couples you see walking down the street? Well they are in love, but you don't see them all over each other. They probably don't say "I love you" very often. Those little fights about whose more cute don't mean anything. It's puppy love. In a few years or even less you will most likely grow apart, and even start liking other people. Its not 100% sure, but it is most definitely possible.

emilyy answered Friday December 28 2007, 1:47 am:
Do you really need a label for this close relationship? It depends what you consider love to be. As a teenager, it is unrealistic to commit yourself to one person for the rest of your life. Sure, you could say you love eachother.. but at age thirteen it isn`t 'adult' love. Just be happy that you are so happy being together, and don`t let anyone decide what your relationship is. Good luck in your relationship & I hope this answer helps! =)
